I see no real change from anyone here. Hillary got shut out by her traitorous party and racist rival. McCain is just another Bush, but maybe with 1/2 a brain (if only he had enough guts to use it).

Sweetie, I loved your post. Although, I was born in American, I too, made my own way in this this country. My parents had a lot of children - but very little money. My father was a natural genius, but he was greatly lacking in everyday common sense. I inherited his genius and my mother's common sense, so I'm a very smart, pragmatic person. I see a "problem" and I want to "fix" it. "Thinking" is recreational and very enjoyable for me. My making money years are pretty much over, but for a quarter of a century, my ex-husband and I took a business from zero to millions of dollars by our own hard work and intuition. There were also some lucky breaks for us. We also didn't have help from anyone else. No investors or government agencies contributed to our success. We did it all on our own. I was offered scholarships to highly accredited colleges because of my outstanding academic records - but I turned them down because I didn't see the point of going to college when I wanted to learn something - I just went out and found the information I needed, on my own.

I wish this country was filled with people like you. The kind of people who have an actual plan to get what they want out of life. Whatever a person wants to do, learn what you have to do to accomplish your goals, then "do it".

Getting back to TMZ's post. Yeah, the guy didn't realize that he said "a white man from Kansas". He meant to say a white WOman from Kansas. Just a dumb mistake.

By the way, can people stop saying that our government let the poor stay poor. It's the ignorant that STAY ignorant. Yes, there is definitley room for change and improvement but many of us posting on this blog came from "poor" backgrounds. It was our (and our parents) hard work that got some of us the successes we have accomplished. As a young black woman who owns a home,owns a car, has no children, and has earned 3 degrees, I can say that the government provided several of the opportunities for me almost free of charge. These opportunities where offered to EVERYONE black, white, blue , and purple. The choice was put in front of me and I took it. These same choices were given to my other unfortunate friends that I grew up with. They took different paths and were persuaded but negative outside influences. That was their choice. The government did not make them sell drugs, have babies, and/or drop out of school. They allowed themselves to get into those situations. So as a black woman living in America, I tell my fellow black americans to get off their a**es and educate themselves. Stop blaming others for your misfortunes. It's embarassing!!!

85. Whatever party you are with make sure you really KNOW what changes will be made.

Just a few words to ponder. If you are a small business owner - Obama wants to raise your taxes on your business up to 56%. There goes alot of growth for you, and the inability to have as many employees or offer better benefits for them.

Those who are hearing how the middle class won't have their taxes increased by Obama. That's good and fine.. but what do you think is going to happen when Obama taxes all the large businesses more? They will need to raise their prices to the public, which you will then feel in a large way.

89. Good grief. Terry Moran made a mistake, a fairly humorous one at that, and all of a sudden, Barack Obama is an Arab, a bastard child, heck, you all probably think he is the anti-Christ. Barack Obama is a man, a good, intelligent American, who will make a wonderful president. Instead of denegrating Democrats, try sitting down with a few, having a calm discussion, and learning something. Both parties have had candidates who were unfaithful, both parties have known scandal and shame. No one is perfect. As the anniverary of 9/11 approaches, perhaps we could stop all the bitterness, the lying and hate mongering, and for one shining moment, remember the people who lost their lives on the horrible day. Look at your loved ones, hug them tightly. Maybe make a donation to your local veteran's hospital, or volunteer your time Just give all this hate a rest, and try to be one country, at least for one day. In the words of The Beatles-"Give peace a chance".

Now before anyone responds with rhetoric, or tries to insult me, read the part about 9/11 again. Ok. Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and think back to where you were when you first heard the news. Dig down and find that emotional response, that feeling of we must be united-ALL of us-to deal with the sorrow, to support our neighbors, to send unconditional love to the victims and the families. And, on this anniversary, bring all that love back. Forget the Palin scandal, or the color of Obama's skin. In the grand scheme, all that matters is America's people's ability to join together and remember. We can rise above the hate and be brothers and sisters. At least, I pray we can.
