It's also b.s. from the standpoint that releasing them would benefit the O'Q minions - they would only make it crystal clear that Daniel 'voluntarily' (that is, of his own accord, no one else involved- not a homicide) 'accidentally' (not a suicide) took too much Methadone because he was a non-dependant (no tolerance, maybe little knowledge of how the drug worked) drug user.

( WHOOPS, SORRY) we all know that the media is fair and unbiased and would never be used for political hits or promoting the interests of others.

What is disconcerting is the presence of a camera in the courtroom and McCabe playing (lying) to the camera. He has been able, the past year to garner a blanket media response to his make believe fable. Perhaps, Lin Wood has made quite an impression on the media or however, the Lawsuit with Arthur against CBS, KPRC, and AOL-owned TMZ, would put any media off as for coverage or any care. ((( Why help someone who might sue you if anything should go awry))))).

Question: Will any of the legal counsel in this case request that there be no cameras in the court? Is this possible. This would frightened potential witnesses or litigants.

QUESTION : Theresa Chang, Harris County Court Clerk, immediately after the Gulf Coast hurricane , took it upon herself to move the Federal case from Rosenthal to Judge Lindsey’s( 190) . It has also been discerned that there are two likely conflicts of interest with Her Honor , Tony Lindsay and two primary players.

Wouldn’t there be more equity with a change of venue or a recusal of the judge?

634. 629. Any leaked doc uments originating within confidentiality orders are a violation of such protections and violate any such confidentiality agreement. Judge Rosenthal wrote a restrictive confidentiality/protective order which details that after 60 days of settlement/trial litigation all pre-trial discovry depositions must be destroyed and that she would remain the conduit to enforce such protective orders.

I cite this case from Texas federal court because there were specific doc uments requested of HKs which are ruled discoverable but only under protective order.

The same could be true of the Florida Confidentiality Orders and also New York.

I've never seen the purpose of these types. They only make it clear that they had been an organized group defaming HKS and others and have now turned on each other as every myth associated with and every 'hero' for the O'Q/VA team has fallen - but no current knowledge or interest in the legal fall-out of the ANS story. I would hope not! I expect McCabe's lawsuits to be dismissed as offenses to common decency and the First Amendment. But, if the State case does see trial, I would hope that a case based on TV shows/blog postings would be carried in both media at the very least. Federal Courts of course do not permit cameras.

That was the State Case in Harris County. The Clerk was acting on the orders of Administrative Judge Ken Wise to move the case from the 190th to the 280th District Court. Failing dismissal of the case, I would think a change of venue to any other county where O'Q and team hasn't heavily donated to the re-election campaigns of the Judges involved would be reasonable.

Recall the Probate Court in Harris County allowed ANS's natural rights as a wife to be trampled. It took the Federal Bankruptcy Court to right matters.

Yes, the Chronicle ran stories about the Harris County probate court and their appointment of lawyers over estates and sucking the estates dry, nullifying family access and rights under the laws. Judge Wood was also mentioned and once again singularly, concerning fraud.

No word of any ongoing investigations, as it should be.

The political machine in Harris County receives the majority of its contributions from Legal Firms such as OQ Law as well as energy/oil barons and most of the wealthy River Oaks enclave o where John O'Quinn resides.

It is difficult to separate the movers and shakers politically or personally as they all mingle at the same functions.
It would not be unreasonable to believe that O'Quinn is doing a favor for the Marshalls or in part a deal for a deal: take out Stern and receive a prize.

This is more than a casual battle for an estate, the damage is planned and punitive and unrelenting.
Anyway who has supported or protected Stern form the PTB have been harassed and demoralized, from his own family, to Birkhead, Danielyn , the lawyers and the posters.

I certainly hope that those responsible no matter what their position are held accountable for their illegal actions. I must wonder with all the illegal activities and damages done to so many , why the DOJ has not been called in. It should be.

I can basically agree with your conclusion. How you reached it can remind many of the underlying justification with which all of the O'Q team and the Cosby's and Opri's of the world operate. That is, celebrities and their entourages are only as 'good' or 'bad' as we the public determine them to be, irrespective of their private and personal truths. Consider that even 'A' list Actors are only regarded as special or important if their last paycheck was huge or they recently received a coveted award.

TMZ made its bones by trashing Mel Gibson as a worthless human being based solely on his drunken ranting during an arrest. It's as if he had accomplished nothing worthwhile in his life up to that point, and since. Celebrity trashing is a much larger business than celebrity boosting.

Enter the low-life professionals and the bizarre peripheral hangers-on into the private affairs of HKS, ANS, LB and DL. None of them respected the fact that all of these principals in the story were human beings. In CA, Opri casts slurs daily on ANS and HKS as she emerges from paternity hearings that are supposed to be maintained confidential. Cosby referred LB to Opri in the first place and both women are making hay by broadcasting inside information of Court proceedings and the ANS/LB relationship. In TX, many in the 'circle' of prominent Lawyers have been licking their lips about the Marshall Fortune for months after the SCOTUS decision. The woman so successfully abused by the Harris County Probate Court had positioned herself to inherit a fortune while setting legal precedent. The death of Daniel, and the emergence of ANS's long-lost mother, whom nobody knew was even alive, followed by TV shows and magazine interviews where VA made it clear either or both of ANS and HKS had harmed her grandson, provided the setting for the perfect storm.

Think of it, even the celebrity's mother thought nothing of trashing her daughter on TV. While public officials were constrained by the responsibilities of their Offices, no one else felt common decency prevailed and still don't to this day.
