On what would have been her 41st birthday we remember the beauty and the humor and the accomplishments of a life so short. Rest in Peace.

Happy 40th Birthday HKS. Stay strong and keep up the good work.

Even better, if the reporter had read up on the lawsuit before covering the Court Hearing and was aware of other related cases, he could have asked McCabe about the real conspiracy (outlined so well in public docs filed in FL) that his Law Firm initiated in all forms of media accusing HKS of murder for profit and LB of being his gay lover who cooperated with him in that effort. The reporter could have asked about the O'Q/VA bloggers who soaked up every ludicrous and disgusting lie that Clark/Wilma put forth and reiterated it in 1000's of posts on sites throughout the country as 'inside' facts. Throw in the fact that pro-HKS bloggers (including those who have been sued) effectively debunked the O'Q/VA bloggers' assertions one by one as they were posted and you have the real motive behind this disgusting attempt to exact revenge on a few of many bloggers. Pro-HKS bloggers virtually ignored VA but they nailed the nasty O'Q/McCabe cabal.

If it ends up ever becoming public and we find out that there really were paid bloggers by a PR firm, the funniest thing is how bad they SUCKED at their job! Just normal people were able to put them in place with simple facts and observation. I wonder if they will be required to go through a new rigorous training program for future clients? They won't be able to use the O'Quinn firm as a reference!!

I've often wondered, as I did again reading your list, when it was that people decided VA was the only alternative to 'parent' DL. How much negative press about and objectionable actions of someone do you need to overlook to come to this view?

VA, besides her own amateur attempts to work the media, clearly became a shill of O'Q and his blogger accomplices as they saturated all media with outrageous and false accusations about everyone closest to DL. The positions of authority regarding DL's inheritance and paternity/custody were set when LB left The Bahamas with his daughter May 1, 2007. After that, VA had no legal standing whatsoever. Yet for months afterward the call was echoed for 'truth and justice' in the name of someone who didn't pursue either.

I don't think many have even read McCabe's bizarre and flimsy claims in his lawsuit against HKS/CBS/bloggers/etc. It's all hysteria and no substance.

Was thinking, outside the obvious that Larry had custody on April 10th and his choices were no reflection of what bloggers said after that was irrelevant. I was reviewing as well the interview Larry did on LKL on March 31, 2008 where Larry once again voiced his custody rights regarding Virgie and ANS's wishes. Larry is the one that made the decision (and a very good one I might add) and it has always been his choice and bloggers had nothing to do with it!

I agree. It was in the news in February 2007 that HKS and LB were privately meeting without VA and a 'deal' was being made between the two men. Opri was screeching to reporters that LB was meeting in FL alone with HKS against her advice. VA was only in the picture in the context of the O'Q propaganda. Neither country has 'grandparents' rights'.

So, she never had a prayer for custody of DL either in The Bahamas or the USA unless she could prove to a Court that both men were guilty of serious crimes, sexual immorality or drug addiction. And those are exactly the charges O'Q and his bloggers leveled against both men - false charges in all three categories of 'unfit' behavior.

Of course the Judges in The Bahamas were immune to such preposterous unfounded claims about HKS and LB, just as they would have been unaffected by any information from American bloggers unflattering to VA if she had had any legal standing in the first place.

McCabe's claim against the TX bloggers is for something that never happened.

YEA!!!! For HKS!!! I hope he feels a sense of accomplishment and pride in fighting for the truth and his honor!

That is a very good point. Considering the media storm that flew into the Bahamas itself with fingers waving at HKS, the judicial proceedings were unaffected (after the removal of Gomez and a couple of other sidebar attempts at corruption) and HKS prevailed in proving his innocence (it shouldve been vice versa of course) with no one able to thwart.

I did see a funny the other day on another site. Someone had the audacity to review public info regarding a Texas Judge and OQ Law Firm and wouldn't you know it, a hater screamed how could anyone even suggest judicial corruption when it came to their side. Even though that is exactly what they attempted to do for 2 years now in multiple jurisdictions.

Ahhh, the bias continues!
