Lets Get This Party Started
Palin Daughter Baby Daddy -- "Don't Want Kids"

Who knew there were rednecks in Alaska?

Apparently there are, according to Levi Johnston, the guy who impregnated the daughter of GOP veep nominee Sarah Palin. He says so himself, on his MySpace page (which is now offline): "I'm a f***in' redneck," he wrote. "I live to play hockey ... I'll kick ass." Somewhat more troubling for 17-year-old Bristol Palin is the following: "I don't want kids." (Of course, what 18 year old really does?)

Gov. Palin and her family announced yesterday that Bristol is pregnant, dispelling rumors Sarah's four-month old was in fact Bristol's.

No Tea in Toronto

Tea Leoni is taking a little time out while her husband deals with his sex addiction.

The actress was meant to be at the Toronto Film Festival, where her film "Ghost Town" is scheduled to premiere, reports People. But given the circumstances – i.e., David Duchovny's revelation he's checked into rehab – Tea has decided to ditch the preem.

The "Californication" star's sex addiction was blamed by pals on porn, not an extramarital affair.

LiLo Chooses SamRo Over MiLo?

Lindsay Lohan and her dad are at it again, supposedly because Lindsay skipped her granddad's wake.

Michael's father died late last week, just as Lindz and Sam and Michael were duking it out on the Internet and in the tabs. Mike had taken the opportunity of the passing to take a shot at wife Dina and then, according to the Sun, blabbed to a photo agency about Lindsay's (and Dina and the rest of the kids) absence at the wake.

76. I think the point is that Gov Palin spent taxpayer money on programs promoting sexual abstention before marriage, but failed to promote the same values effectively in her home. Also, McCain cut money to combat teenage pregnancy.

Maybe the one good thing that will come out of this mess is that Republicans will stop promoting the idea that teenage pregnancy is the result of failed social programs (i.e., welfare, sex education, etc.) and recognize that it also seems to be a problem in religious conservative, abstention-promoting households.

77. What a sad sate this country is in when after four years of preparing for this day, the best McCain can come up with is a woman who thinks abandoning your Down syndrome kid and pregnant daughter to run for political office because she's a maverick like the guy who votes with Bush 9 times out of 10.

Forget her political (lack of) accomplishments, what does this woman really stand for?
Woman shouldn't have the right to choose. (Given her judgment, that might not be a bad idea FOR HER!)
Freedom of speech and the right to vote for whomever should be punishable offenses. (After she was elected, she fired 2 of the six people who supported her opponent in a mayoral election, including the police chief.)
She's for political reform. (Apparently "reform" means the firing of those people who won't submit to her pressure to fire her little sister's ex-husband. When the man refused to accept a transfer out of the way of her attempts to get her ex-brother-in-law fired, he got canned. The state legislature has been investigating this for some time now.)

P.S. Gas was $1.55/gallon when Bush got elected in Nov. 2000. CAN WE AFFORD ANOTHER 8 YEARS OF REPUBLICAN ECONOMIC POLICIES? Compare what you've spent in additional fuel costs with what you got in tax breaks. That's some deal! I'm not hating, these are the facts. Do the math yourself!

I absolutely agree. People need to stop calling Bristol Palin a whore. She's just a kid and she screwed up and I don't think it's fair to chastise her or her boyfriend. I do, however, think it's fair to chastise the situation. Her parents obviously didn't do their jobs as parents properly and failed to enforce their own house rules. Republicans are known for spouting 'family values' but their own values were obviously not worth anything in their own home.

79. Sarah Palin claims to be a "hockey mom." Looks like she scrimped on her Bristol's stick handling lessons.

80. Doesn't the father of this child already have a bastard kid? And now he'll be "forced" to marry. Great GOP values!

81. Hey, "good grief" : you say "And don't even get me STARTED on the fact that she herself selfishly and irresonsibly chose to have a child when she was over 40."

Wow, let me make sure all us 40+ YO check in with you before having kids. It sure is nice for you relieve us of having to make decisions for ourselves. I am a wavering Obama supporter, and he is showing 1000x more class than his fans are. I like the man, but his supporters are beginning to disgust me. Take a hint from your candidate and show some decency and respect. "Judge not..." right?

82. The scary thing is...McCain is OLD! He may pass away after a few months of the stress of being President. IF he gets elected there is a good chance this majorly pre-occupied woman would be running our country. She clearly has way too much going on in her life. Sure, its okay to have babies with special needs...but pawning them off on a nanny is just a cop-out. Be a Mom, Sarah Palin...your kids are suffering from your selfish desires to be in political office.

84. Why is Levi Johnston (young Ms Palin's lucky fellow) not being charged with statutory rape? He's 18. She's 17. In most states of the United States of America, he would face felony charges--even in Alaska.

85. You are morons!!!
That is/was a fake myspace. It had/has Obama stuff all over it.

Get over it.

86. I thought family was off limits. I don't think they wiil want this door opened. I have a lot of questions on Obama's mother & his half brother. How can you be on food stamps & then next sentence tell about the private schools you attented. Not much said about his mother. That must be another story.

87. @43 - Oh Cindy you are such a funny, ignorant person. The truth of the matter is that there is currently a pretty good balance of power in the media. The sad part is that you, as a republican, do not understand you are the hypocrite. I love all you Republicans, you are always good for a laugh. Whether it is your policy recommendations, ridiculous belief in all things religious (even if they make absolutely no sense) and your inability to make sound decisions. I am so glad Palin was chosen, it has made it very clear that the Republicans make GREAT (sarcastic) decisions.

43. am so sick and tired of all the liberal media bashing Republicans. No body is perfect! Give this family a break! At least they all have the courage to admit their mistakes. God bless Sarah Palin for not "killing" her baby just b/c it has Down's syndrome! God bless this teenage girl for not "killing" her precious baby! Yes, it is a baby! IT has a heartbeat! I am so sick of this unfair media we have here in the USA. If you are a liberal you get all the rights, if you are a conservative you are made fun of and discriminated against!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No what you don't get is this, don't bash that girl and that family just as one shouldn't bash mine or any others that make a different decision. Repukes always claim to want the government out of personal lives except when it comes to what is going on in the bedroom. But since they can attack somebody else don't you dare say a word about them. That is call hypocrisy.

88. Palin showed promise but is getting creepy. She favors teaching creation science in schools, she opposes sex ed and birth control, she has neopentecostal dominionist ties (scary and anti-semetic) and she is forcing her daughter into a marriage i doubt either child wants.

Tragic for the ticket and for these children. No woman in her right mind will elect McCain.

89. I'LL BET ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE CONDEMING THE PALIN'S ARE PERFECT AND THEIR CHILDREN ARE PERFECT. I BET HALF ARE ON THE DOLE SUCKING THE LIFE OUT OF ALL AMERICANS. NO COMPASION MEANS NO BRAINS!

90. Come on, people!! Bristol Palin's decision to engage in promiscuity should NOT reflect on her upbringing. Everyone sins to some degree, regardless how well they were taught right from wrong and morals by their parents. Everyone has a free will. Many people are quick to judge and point fingers but never take the time to examine their own lives. Why are the same people that accuse McCain and Palin of hypocrisy don't ever take the time to check out Obama and Biden to see if there are any wrongdoings in their past?
Also, why is it sooooo wrong to teaching abstinence till marriage to America's youth instead of just "sex education"? Our society could be vastly different if many teens learned restraint and delaying gratification.
