Lets Get This Party Started
Palin Daughter Baby Daddy -- "Don't Want Kids"

Who knew there were rednecks in Alaska?

Apparently there are, according to Levi Johnston, the guy who impregnated the daughter of GOP veep nominee Sarah Palin. He says so himself, on his MySpace page (which is now offline): "I'm a f***in' redneck," he wrote. "I live to play hockey ... I'll kick ass." Somewhat more troubling for 17-year-old Bristol Palin is the following: "I don't want kids." (Of course, what 18 year old really does?)

Gov. Palin and her family announced yesterday that Bristol is pregnant, dispelling rumors Sarah's four-month old was in fact Bristol's.

No Tea in Toronto

Tea Leoni is taking a little time out while her husband deals with his sex addiction.

The actress was meant to be at the Toronto Film Festival, where her film "Ghost Town" is scheduled to premiere, reports People. But given the circumstances – i.e., David Duchovny's revelation he's checked into rehab – Tea has decided to ditch the preem.

The "Californication" star's sex addiction was blamed by pals on porn, not an extramarital affair.

LiLo Chooses SamRo Over MiLo?

Lindsay Lohan and her dad are at it again, supposedly because Lindsay skipped her granddad's wake.

Michael's father died late last week, just as Lindz and Sam and Michael were duking it out on the Internet and in the tabs. Mike had taken the opportunity of the passing to take a shot at wife Dina and then, according to the Sun, blabbed to a photo agency about Lindsay's (and Dina and the rest of the kids) absence at the wake.

91. 'Redneck' is a term which refers to Americans of generic white American ancestry, whose ancestors have been here more than a few geerations, and who share the common redneck culture. It is a word which can be dangerous to use, if you are not one.

In other words, ignorant people are unaware that there are rednecks in Alaska.

92. I'm disgusted at how the media is using its typical "expose and destroy" tactics on a pregnant 17-year old teenager. If she commits suicide next week from the pressure I hope you're happy.

93. Wow, what a creepshow we've got going in the comments on this story. You're all rascals and rogues. Shame on you.

94. Nothing about this story makes the daughter a "whore". Nor does it make her anything like Britney, or Lindsay, etc. Those girls were using drugs, partying, ignoring their kids, AND sleeping around.
This girl, most likely, had sex with this boyfriend and got pregnant. Britney? Are you kidding?

OF COURSE the boyfriend won't marry her. He's not ready to be a father. They screwed up, big time.
That doesn't make her a monster or a whore.

"she herself selfishly and irresponsibly chose to have a child when she was over 40." ...
wow... so much for the Republicans being "intolerant". Go ahead, bub. Head out on the campaign
trail and tell every woman over 40 that they are selfish and irresponsible if they have a child.
Good luck winning votes with that attitude (not to mention FRIENDS).

Republicans looking dumb? Hardly. The media is making this out to be a much bigger deal than it is.
The more they carry on about this, the more Palin and the Republicans will be able to say,
"Look, this happens. We wish it didn't, but she's pregnant. What else do you want to say about it?
and the media (and any Democratic party member who jumps in on this), will come off looking like
the "Jerry Springer Show" or "Maury" -- and it's ironic that the media has already started peppering coverage
of the story with the phrase "baby daddy." They will all come off looking like the heartless idiots that they are,
and Palin and her daughter will come off looking like wounded victims.

95. As a liberal, I'm coming to the conclusion that
1 - we are just as self-righteous as Rush Limbaugh
2- we are intolerable hypocrites
3- we are afraid that McCain may actually win this election

we libs of all people should know that no one is perfect. How would you turkeys feel if Palin was pro-explicity sex ed and the daughter ended up knocked up anyway?

96. Ooooook. So what the daughter is pregnant at 17. I went to high school with plenty of girls on their 3rd kid by graduation. I am so tired of people blaming the kids wild ways on the parents. I was raised by two great, loving parents. My mom was a stay at home mom who kept on me about who, what, where and why! I graduated with Honors at the top of my class yet I was still out partying. It's just something kids do! More so now than before. In a lot of cases it can be absentee parents but in most cases now a days it's just simply boredom. What the hell else is there to do in Alaska???

98. The Democrat nominee regrets his own teenage years. Keep it up and all the crack he smoked and all the booze he drank will be absolutely fair game!

99. How small and vicious we seem to be as Americans, if these comments reflect anything. And which of us count our blessings every day that we weren't caught - at any age - in the predicament Bristol Palin and her family find themselves in? Too bad that rock-throwing isn't an Olympic event. So many of you would have hurtled the American total medal count 'way past the Chinese.Stay comfortable in those glass houses, boys and girls, and be glad you've never made a mistake.

100. Palins family life is absolutely up for discussion. Firstly, she is an outspoken advocate for the pro-life agenda and has advocated for policies that support that cause. Now that she finds her daughter in this situation, she wants the media and public to respect her families privacy, but why should we? She has advocated to allow government to make these "private" and personal decisions for us through the policies that she has supported, but now she doesn't want the attention, particularly since she was the one who paraded her family in front of the media to begin with. Secondly, this shows the same shoot from the hip leadership that has characterized the Bush Administration. John McCain thought it was a good idea to choose this woman as his running mate probably with out much vetting or forethought and now it looks like another misguided decision. Thirdly, imagine if John McCain passed away while in office? The former mayor of a town of 6,000 would now be president......Im a republican, but I have to vote for Obama!

101. Welcome to Republican Theatre - home of the really horrible American Reality TV show. I feel for the poor kid. 17 and pregnant. That sucks BIG time. But at least her folks have money so she won't have to change the diapers all the time or miss prom. But still. It sucks for the kid. And she'll become so well known around this country that she'll probably get her own reality tv show - "Northern Exposure - For Real!" I definitely wouldn't want Palin in the White House - we're closer to Mike Judge's vision of America in "Idiocracy" if the repubs win it this fall. And we'll look like a laughing stock to the rest of the world as well. Sigh.

102. wtf, fine republican family...When are the dems gonna get that most american families have issues. Obamas Mom was 18 when she had him. No one said anything about that. It doesn't matter if your parents are christian, atheist, or whatever. The dems are all about hate and sexism. A man can have a daughter get pregnant at 17 and no problem. Bill Clinton cheating on his wife, no problem. Who cares if the father doesn't marry the daughter, Sarah is supporting her daughter and that is what is important. Everyone makes mistakes and who made us judge and jury for all. Get a life and stop embarassing yourself and your parents. This girls mistake will affect the rest of her life and she has to deal with it, not anyone else.

103. I can understand if she wants to have a baby that she knowns will have some difficult times ahead or she supports her minor with the birth of her first grandchild. What i don't understand is when your country calls on you for the second highest office in the land you can find the time to take care of your personal and political career

104. Why do so many people automatically think the young girl is a whore? Pregnant at 17 means she made a bad decision. It does not mean she is a whore. Whether her and the father choose to get married is their business. If the two together would not make a good environment for the child, then they shouldn't. If they truly love each other then they should. NONE of us know what either of them are truly thinking or what their plans are.

105. This poor girl shouldn't be judged by anyway who had sex as a teenager. She was just unlucky and got caught!

However, if her mother is going to try to mandate other peoples' lives (anti-abortion/abstinence only sex education), then I will scream, "hypocrite"!
