73. I am confused as to how Conservatives/Republicans can agree with the Palin choice. This is absolutely ridiculous! Obviously this woman is not very "tough" as everyone is saying. My mom was tough, and you know what, I did not get knocked up at 17, nor are there any pictures of me engaging in any illegal activities floating around on the internet. Her time as govenor has been riddled with suspicion of corruption. Also, as a woman, I cannot fathom going back to work a mere 3 weeks after giving birth to a needy baby. At the very least I would opt to take the regular time for maternity leave to make sure I bond with my baby. Instead, Palin chose to leave her premature, Downs Syndrome affected child with a nanny just 3 weeks after giving birth. You have to consider what is right for you, your family, and the country, and at this point in Ms. Palin's life obviously the focus needs to be on family. Her decision to accept the VP nom alone shows that she has poor judgement. I thought Conservatives believed in abstinence, anti birth control, family, etc? So far, absolutely NONE of these things have been reflected in Palin. You are blindly following along, just so you don't have to admit that a bad decision was made.
