Helen's Outfit: Less Appealing Than Date Rape

There's something Helen Mirren should have said no to at the last second -- her unfortunate body-hiding ensemble.

The hot-bodied 63-year-old was snapped for the first time since news of her controversial comments on drugs and non-consensual sex surfaced, wearing an unholy trinity of layered tops and a pleated Rorschach skirt.

No doubt about it, this is criminal!

47. I used to love TMZ, but you are becoming juvenile and rude. Date rape is nothing to joke about. Her outfit is age appropriate anyway.... POOR CHOICE OF HEADLINES.

49. Really? You think date rape is funny? Have you no boundaries or writing talent? Check yourself.

50. ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THAT HEADLINE? SHAME ON YOU TMZ!!!!!!!!!

51. Using date rape headline as a joke? This is an all time low, even for you guys. Maybe if it happens to your sister or daughter, it would a bit less humorous. After several low class jokes at others expense, I will not be back to this site. It is now deleted from my favorites.

52. Looks pretty normal to me. Not everyone in the country dresses like a whore except wives, girlfriends and women at TMZ.

53. Less appealing than date rape? Clearly a sick, mentally distorted male wrote everything about this article.

54. LESS APPEALING THAN DATE RAPE?!?! I can't believe my eyes; this isn't humorous in the LEAST bit in any way imaginable. Let's us know if your sister, daughter, aunt or mother gets raped and they say it was better than a random cocaine addict/multi-millionaire's outfit. Also, let us know if you laughed when they compared their rape experience to a senior-citizen's outfit. Then us who are beyond offended will stand corrected. This is a SUBURB reason never to frequent this cesspool of a Web site again.

55. Really, REALLY horrible headline, TMZ. Making light of date rape is terrible and disgusting. Maybe you've never had a woman in your life who has been raped but chances are maybe you have and they didn't tell you. 1 in 6 women and 1 in 33 men will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime. Really not funny. I suggest you change this. Date rape is not a joke and far too many men think it is already. Half the time, they don't even realize that they're crossing the line.

56. I assure you, there is little I can think of that is worse than date rape. It's certainly not something to compare to clothing, or much of anything else except serious abuse and torture. I understand that part of the point of TMZ is to push the envelope and make people react and provide cheap mindless entertainment, hence why I visit it, but this is far, far over the line.

Some facts about what your clever little play on words is about:

* 73% of women who were raped knew their assailants.

* 57% of rapes occurred on a date.

* 33% of males surveyed said they would commit rape if they definitely could escape detection.

* 84% of male students who had committed acts that clearly met the legal definition of rape said what they had done was definitely not rape.

*17% of all women will experience rape or attempted rape in their lifetime.

These are some effects those women will face after the fact - they will be:

3 times more likely to suffer from depression.

6 times more likely to suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder.

13 times more likely to abuse alcohol.

26 times more likely to abuse drugs.

4 times more likely to contemplate suicide.

You tell me, TMZ - is this something you can compare to a bad outfit? Is this a joking matter at all?
