Man Charged in Murder of Ashton's Ex

Michael GargiuloSeven years after her murder, a suspect has finally been charged in the stabbing of Ashley Ellerin -- who was linked to Ashton Kutcher at the time of her death.

Michael Gargiulo, who's been in custody for several months for a different crime, was officially charged with two murders today -- one of which was Ellerin's.

Two of his attorneys, Elana Goldstein and David Murphy, tell TMZ, "Our client vehemently denies all allegations against him and any involvement in any of these murders."

Ellerin was found stabbed to death in her apartment. The night of her murder, Ashton showed up at her house to pick her up for a Grammy party, but left when she didn't answer the door.

16. Ashley was a childhood friend of mine. My mother called me Saturday morning to tell me the news of Michael Gargiulos capture and the unfortunate news that he was linked to other murders This man is a monster! I feel for all of the families involved and i pray to God that there are not more victims. God Bless DNA because i do believe that we are finally going to get justice for Ashley. Nothing will bring Ashley back to us but this will allow some peace and the healing process to start for the Ellerin family as well as the other families involved.

17. I lived in the house she was murdered in right after and I am so grateful that they finally caught him. I always felt that she could not rest in peace until they caught her murderer. Now I hope he gets the death penalty. And by the way, for the sake of the Press getting it right, you can look in the back windows. Its too high to look into, and the front door has three large windows that you can see right into. How Ashton didn't see her body is crazy, as I lived in that house for a year and everybody could see in the house even from the dogpark below at least from the front. How did he get in though? It doesn't matter, I will go each day to his trial because as an attorney I want to see justice done and this guy put away so he doesn't harm anyone or woman anymore. Ashley, you're finally a peace. Be well and t.y.f.b.t.
