18. PETA has just turned into a bunch of crazy nuts that are not only unbearable but also illogical. They took a humane cause, or what could have been, and turned it into a circus act that nobody pays attention to because they are so stupid. They put some mostly naked chick in a cage in the downtown area where I love and somehow that was supposed to help cruelty to animals?? Attracting a bunch of horny young men gawking at some girl in a cage helps them how?? Friggin NUTS!!!

20. Sue, most Americans either eat or have eaten meat in their lifetime so, for cancer researchers to say that "MEAT" causes cancer is a very bold (not profound) statement!


PETA needs to spend their time taking care of ALL the abused and unwanted pets in this world. That would keep them busy for a long time.

21. ok so im sure tht when PETA was first lyk made they did have good intentions (aka to help abused animals, stop ridiculous animal killing etc) but now they're just goin overboard cuz ok i understand it is sad tht animals go through wut they go through but personally i rather a hundred anmials die then one human being && if they rly have such a huge problem wit science trying to improve our living then they shld volenteer themselves to be tested

On the day that an animal:

Pays my bills
Can perform open heart surgery
Can answer the phone when I dial 911
Can put out a fire in my neighborhood
Can build a road, a car, a computer or any other piece of equipment I need
Can write legislation
Can vote

Or a million other things that only HUMANS can do - I will care about you psycho animal lovers.

Animals do not deserve to be brutalized I will give you that much...BUT THEY ARE NOT, I REPEAT, NOT EVEN CLOSE TO HUMANS AND I WILL NEVER REGARD THEM AS REMOTELY EQUAL TO PEOPLE.

27. that is funny to me for some reason, I work for a non profit - with soy, and you know what SOY has been linked to cancer. Everything is linked to cancer so peta needs to STFU. They are an embarassment to the rest of us vegetarians and vegans. Pam Anderson and her little troop do NOT speak for me!

While I am actually guilty of caring more about animals I don't know than people I don't know, I actually despise Peta for the simple fact that many of their little "missions" do animals more harm than good (i.e., releasing captive animals with no plan to care for them and leaving them to fend for themselves when they have never been in the wild, or in a city, for that matter). Having said that, I have to agree that it is hypocrytical of the cancer society to serve foods that are known carinogens. While I agree the American Cancer Society does a lot of good, they should be promoting a diet that helps prevent cancer, not one that causes it.
