Celebrity Pay Dirt
Tom Brady's Unreal Estate

Tom BradyAs if life couldn't get any better for Tom Brady being a hot, rich NFL quarterback with a supermodel girlfriend -- now it turns out the football star just made a killing in real estate. Donald Trump, we've found your apprentice.

In 2006, Brady bought a Boston building and began renovating and converting it into four condos. According to the Boston Globe, the New England Patriot kept the top floor for himself and recently sold the other three to a South American businessman for $7.95 million -- about $1.7 million more than he paid for the entire building. Housing crisis? What national housing crisis?!

Besides the Boston property, Brady recently purchased a plot of dirt in L.A. for $11 million and put his NYC pad on the market for $19 million. Comparatively, the Cowboys' quarterback Tony Romo is living on skid row, purchasing a home in Dallas for under $700K and having girlfriend Jessica Simpson decorate it. Oh, the humanity.

17. The Boston Globe should be embarrassed that they published that article in their Business section instead of the gossip section. Tom Brady bought the 4 unit building for about $6.8 Million, spent millions of dollars on a complete renovation (his mortgage was for $11 Million) and then sold three of the four units for $7.95 Million. How did he get a unit for free? If you read deep into the article the Globe acknowledges that he probably did not make a profit. If you read the headline, it appears that he got his unit for free when that is obviously not the case. I hope that he is able to focus his attention on the upcoming football season and that his new neighbor is quiet so that Tom can get a good nights rest during football season.

20. Yeah, that's what Romo gets for wanting to do a "D" lister. What the hell does Simpson know about decortaing a home? Hell, she couldn't even hold on to her husband. Not only that, I don't put much stock into someone who doesn't even know what tuna is. Besides, it's Jess' dad that wants to do Romo the homo and Jess is just daddy's beard.

26. HEey #14 poster, so what!? if John McCain has numerous homes - so do most celebrities, and politicians. The Clintons, the Seinfelds, the Bradys, and, oh yeah... Mr. Cheating-on-his-dying-wife John Edwards. Do you know how much that lying piece of refuse is worth? I don't exactly, but it's a truck load of money. As an attorney he made most of it in high level, class action type, personal injury represenation stuff. He's got one of the biggest homes I've ever seen. And let's not talk about "Mr. Green" environmentalist Al Gore whose emmense property is beyond imagination. So get off the McCain kick and let's knock everyone for working hard, earning money, and investing it wisely. Wait.... but dcn't spend any of that money because then you're an egomaniac and America is not only envious, but they now gossip about you.
Be fair....the Democrats are just as bad sometimes. Did you know that Nancy Pelosi is the 7th rich Congress person? OMG, does that now disqualify her for the position of Speaker of the House?

27. I agree with a lot of other people. Being a Dallas native... who has an apartment in new york city...
Tony Romo's house could possibly be close to the same size as the sq. footage as Tom Brady's $19 million digs.

I still think that 700k for a house in dallas...when your a NFL star and Jessica Simpson is your girlfriend.... is kinda odd. I'm sure Jessica spends that inna couple months of shopping.

30. What a ridiculous statement in the article "What national housing crisis ?' after stating a South American businessman bought the places. Perhaps the writers at TMZ need to get a clue about what the national housing crisis is about and who it is affecting. Morons.
