It's quite scary to me that this woman is literally one stroke from becoming President if McCain is elected. Not only is she against women's rights, pro-creationism, and part of several ethics investigations, she is incapable of instilling her strict conservative morals into the members of her own household. How can anyone believe that she is capable of running a country? She couldn't even write her own speech; instead, she had to rely on our current president's speech writers and, rather than focusing on any political issues, continued the Republican smear campaign. It's sad that Americans are choosing a pretty face that spouts insults and nonsense about ethics rather than using their brains and thinking about what's best for this country for the next four to eight years.

The Republicans are RELYING on the "dumbing down" process, so that the entrenched elite wingnut Mossad, military and financial corporate interests can manipulate the Whitehouse without interuption. McCain is a pushover and Palin is so low on the totem that she's entirely controllable and they'll keep her flattered and irrelevant, at least they'll hope to. Or they'll get rid of her.

Can't wait to see McCain and Palin screw up because of hurricane Ike. Then, we'll have TROOPERGATE, followed by "Bristol's not getting married after all", followed by drama after pointless distracting drama from the tiny world of Palin and the Republican ticket will gradually sink further and further.

It was commented online today that because McCain didn't get a good ratings bump out of his convention, that the election is now over; Obama will win. That may be logical but I think the Dem's need to assert themselves relentlessly and take nothing for granted, and believe nothing without having it verified by independent sources. The media will have lots to talk about.

Bring on the debates.

35. Palin is in WAY over her head. She's going to be stretched well beyond what she's used to or capable of and when the debates aren't scripted and as the campaign gets into direct media interviews, reactions to crowds, business and public comments, Palin is going to be walking on electorial landmines. The Republicans will try to explain away the explosions, but no doubt a pattern will be revealed that indicates Palin's level of competence at being a VP or President of the United States.

Why was McCain so self-destructive? He must WANT the Republicans to lose. He probably knows too much about the 911 birds that weren't birds at all.

36. This is going to be a very interesting path to the election. Notice that the Dem's have so far let Palin say whatever she wants with next to no reaction? There's a good reason! It won't take much to show to all Americans that as a candidate for VP or President of the United States, Palin is completely incompetent. But let's wait a little.

38. I heard that poll but its false. Obama beat out American Idol even and had recorded the highest ever in tv. Now its all changed since the end of the repub convention. Anyway I never heard such propaganda from American people in my life--whoops--I mean since last election.

39. D. Durbin and his student Barack Obama are hard core Socialists . Durbin is one of the most extreme senators in modern time , based on his views on National Socialism , Ecomics, Victims in society, Etc. Durbin is the co-chair of Barck Obama.
If you want hard core Socialism than Barack Obama (aka:Durbin) is your choice. If you do Not want hard core Socialism than John McCain is your choice (It is that Simple).

42. I am horrified that this woman, who sacrificed her daughter to comments and embarrassment from the whole world for a chance at the Vice Presidency has the nerve to tell anyone to eat her dust. From my viewpoint, she just threw dust in her daughters face. She better be thankful that wasnt my son she was parading all over that stage in front of millions of people.
