Gordon Ramsay should have stuck to his guns -- aka Ginsu knives -- because he went down hard with a leg injury while playing in a charity soccer match in England today.
We're told he pulled his hamstring and now has to watch from the sidelines.

He was originally supposed to be a soccer player when he was younger. That's what he wanted. Then he got hurt so he turned to cooking. Sucks that he got hurt playing soccer again though.
