18. I was there at the Palms, he was really kind to everyone....but seemed to be getting irritated by all the people chasing him with cameras. Couldn't even eat dinner with out 20 people chasing him down for pictures. Felt bad for him....

19. I had to put the mute on when the slobbering NBC anchors talked about him during the olympics. I so wanted some balance, and less jingoism.

An example: When the blonde German won the 50m swim. During the medal ceremonies, I expected to watch her happy expressions; but the cameraman focused on the silver medalist, more than the winner.

Michael didn't have much chance to polish his social skills, having spent so much time in the water. So, good luck to him!

24. Great role model =( yes another kid brought up wrong. He may have more gold medals than anyone but he couldnt win a medal for his morals if he tried! First a DUI and now cavorting with Playboy girls and hanging at strip clubs =( Hi smother should NOT be proud! What s shame all that talent and no morality.

25. The MTV Host (Russel Brand) was truly a Disgrace. The host tried hard to turn the event into an Angry obama political rally. I believe, with a hard core belief in Socialism, this type of anger and hate that Russel Brand has, will repeat itself.

28. Michael Phelps sure is a goofy looking guy, but hell i'm only a couple years older than him so I would probably be partying it up just as much if I had only won a single gold medal, let alone 8. He deserves it, I can't hate on him for that.
