47. Wow, interesting comments. I think Debbies amazing look is a result of a lot makeup and a good stylist. I don't think she has ahd any extra work done, It's like being in drag for her. 49. Madonna is a talentless hack who got to where she is by sucking off producers & showing her quiff at the drop of a hat, declaring herself to be an "artiste!" It was never really about music to her, it was more about being a fashion statement. When she realized that she was on the wane, she sucked face with Britney & then married a Brit movie maker. Now she declares that America is so awful & craps on it every chance she can. Such a great way to thank your fans! Debbie Harry has true musical talent & from the start at CBGB's, she sang her ass off & didn't buy into the pop mentality. While she may have had some "enhancements" done, at least she doesn't look like a piece of dried leather stretched across a plate of rocks, like Madge does. Her hair also looks more natural than Madge's & she's far from the pretentious whore Madonna is.

58. Debbie Harry is a true original (although she borrowed the platinum blonde look from Marilyn Monroe). She was an authentic rocker and new wave pioneer. She was a member of a band, a singer-songwriter and proud Jersey girl. Kung Fu Girl, X Offender and In the Sun ("Surf's up!") remain classics. I heard her music on the radio in France, and she won hearts all over the planet.

I'm still upset that I missed her show at the World in NYC in 1990!

Madonna appropriated her look, and now has the gall to proclain that Gwen Stefani is copying her.
