16. "All By Myself" was a huge hit and a great song back in the '70's...in fact, I still have the record on 45! I was stunned when an American Idol contestant performed it last season and they gave all the credit to Celine Dion, who recorded a COVER of it. I was like "Wait, Celine Dion? Uh-uh, that was Eric Carmen!"

I'm glad he didn't injure or kill anyone, and I hope he gets the help he so obviously needs.

17. Wow - this is RIGHT down the street from me. Glad I wasn't on the road. After two DUI's in less than two years (and he blew a .23!) I truly hope he gets over himself and gets some help. He's made some great tunes, but that ego's got to go.

22. Stupid beyond belief to be driving like this, but then when you are drunk, you tend to stupid things! Loved the Raspberries and still have their albums. The sticker on the first album still has the smell! Anyway...get yourself some help, Eric!

24. The man is awesomely talented.

A gifted songwriter and supreme pianist, vocalist and even guitarist.

I've heard the rumors, too. About how he fought his former bandmates, had a 'me' complex and I guess that comes with everyone throwing themself at you.

My hope? That Eric indeed rehabilitates and goes on to write the biggest hit of his career.

I'm praying for you, Eric.

28. A few years back I attempted to bring reality to his adoring fans on the EC website about his drinking problem and was banned from the site. 30. this dude has been a drunk its his second DUI. Im from orange, he hit a fire hydrant on one of the busiest streets in town he's just stupid. great work orange police department not giving out MIP's to 20 year olds and finally doing something right for our community.
