Dee: I also think if BO had picked Hillary it would have practically been a done deal - shoein as you call it BUT HE DIDNT - this should give you & all of us some insight on his decisions making abilities or lack thereof. The biggest decision in front of him & one he had to make for the good of the American people & HE TOTALLY BLEW IT. You even said that.

As for the decision McCain made - it seems to be the right one for him to have made - he has shot up in all the polls, has everyone talking, & BO & Biden falling all over themselves, making stupid statements which show their true character.

This shows us of the two, who is the better decision maker, when it comes down to it.

36. I agree with Who Made a Better Decision...McCain showed his smarts by picking Palin. Obamasama totally blew his first MAJOR decision, and thank goodness it was BEFORE he got into the White House! Just goes to show how screwed up we'll be if he gets in. Taking a chance on Palin shows he is not about to bow down to anyone now, or when he's president!

38. I'm a lifelong conservative....republican..and I gotta say...this is no big deal...it was a mistake. He apologized...end of story. Why does every little thing have to be blown out of proportion?

Now...if it was Obama and his dumb a$$ remarks yesterday that he refuses to apologize for..well, that's different.

Suck it up, be a man, say an apology and move on. We all say things we wish we hadn't said...but most of us are big enough to admit it!

I totally agree with the comments about what a poor decision this was for OsamaObama to make - how could he screw that up so badly?? Clearly he should have picked Hillary but didnt - we ask why?? Because he put his own PERSONAL reasons in front of what was best for his party & he would let his own personal reasons stand in front of what is best for the country/world in a hot minute if it conflicted with what HE or MICHELLE wanted/thought/believed. first of all, the repugs were in full control for SIX YEARS and did nothing of value to us regular citizens.

second of all, it is so FOX IGNORANT to talk about the two years the dems have had control of the house. and this shows how shallow and one-dimensional you moronic FOX lemmings are. see, there's this thing called a PRESIDENTIAL VETO, and that means that the president can say NO to whatever he wants. if you think bush doesnt veto every democratic piece of legislation that reaches his desk, you're more stupid than we all thought. and that includes vetoing things like supporting our troops and good healthcare for children.

and if you actually read some REAL news, aka NOTHING you will find in our mainstream media, you would know that MANY iraqis are so fed up with our occupation and lack of commitment to what we promised them before the invasion, that iraqis say that life was BETTER under saddam b/c at least they had water and electricity. you do know that we destroyed their entire infrastructure and promised to fix it, but the haliburtons, KBRs, blackwaters just pocketed the billions and did either nothing or a minimal, shoddy job.
