Matt Damon: Palin's No Wall-E

To Matt Damon, having Alaskan GILF Sarah Palin as VP would be like having another "Underdog" -- aka, a "really bad Disney movie."

There's only one problem with that theory: Underage pregnancy would never fly at the Mouse House.

31. I used to not like Matt Damon, but I like him a little more now. He's so right! How could and why would anyone vote for Palin?! Do you really trust this inexperienced woman to run our country? We know nothing about her and she has no "real" record to lead an entire country. It's all a political PR stunt to say, "Hey, McCain chose a woman, but Obama did not." Ultimately, we cannot continue the next 4 years as we have been, and we need a change. The only way that can happen is by voting for Obama and Biden. McCain/Palin never talk about the issues...all they do is tear down Obama to avoid what's really at hand. If you think the economy has been great , you like not having a job, enjoy watching ever-rising gas prices, and you like war, vote for McCain/Palin, If you want housing prices to increase, more employment opportunities, lower gas prices and a stop to war, vote for the RIGHT candidates, Obama/Biden.

32. Why are people saying they voting republican? My guess is Sarah Palin. I personally think she should be there for her special needs child since he will require alot of attention and care. I'm not saying she should not work but I feel family should come before this especially with a special needs child. Being a special education teacher he will require time and patience. I hate it when celeberties and other people have these kids and then have a nanny raising their child. Celeberties need to keep theri opinions to themselves as I do on voting.

33. YOU GUYS OUT THERE WHO DISAGREE. THIS IS YOUR VOTE TOO, YOUR COUNTRY. THIS REALLY DOES F'N MATTER! EVERYONE REALLY NEEDS TO THINK ABOUT IT. REGARDLESS OF WHAT PARTY YOU LEAN TOWARDS. THINK ABOUT SARAH PALIN BEING THE PRESIDENT. DOES THAT MAKE GOOD BUSINESS SENSE FOR OUR COUNTRY?YES SHE IS LIKABLE, BUT THERE HAD TO HAVE BEEN A BETTER PERSON/WAY THAN PICKING HER, HOWEVER, THAT IS NOT WHAT MC CAIN WAS CONCERNING HIMSELF WITH. HE MADE A STRATEGIC PICK AND A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE FALLING FOR IT. LOOK AT THE ISSUES NOT THE PERSONALITIES.

34. Why in the world do I care what Matt Damon thinks about politics? Why is this "news"?

35. To all those "experts" on Plain's "lack of experience" to be VP. Let's hear about Obama's experience to PRESIDENT.

C'mon, we're waiting...............

Thats right, he has NONE. He has zero experience governing, leading, or in foreign policy. Has rarely fulfilled his obligations as a Senator, voting "present" over 100 times in his short stint as Senator.

Why are liberals so weak minded?

36. Matt Damon is paid to act - stick with a script you uneducated fool.

37. I think the movie should start off like Matt said, like this "hockey mom" from a small town is gonna go up against all the bigwigs and really show em'. but it should ultimately turn into a horror movie as she becomes president because all the ignorant fools voted for her, the world starts slowly going to sh*t one thing after another and there is complete chaos.
on a different note, some of the comments that prove so many americans are complete idiots:
1. people who say Obama is racist or muslim...PLEASE stop spewing this garbage.
2. people that are saying Matt is "angry"- I saw no signs of anger, only fear and shock. and that he is "sexist" for bringing to light the fact that one woman is completely unqualified to take on this job and basically just a dumb over the top christian
3. Anyone that says celebs are just following others by picking the liberal candidate. To you: anyone who has one OUNCE of intellect is going to chose the liberal candidate because they are our only hope of getting this country out of the mess that right-wing conservatives have gotten us into. If anything celebs are smart/ talented to have gotten to where they are.

38. The debate questions will take into account that Palins inexperience, judgment and family crisis do not paint the picture of a Vice President or President of the United States.

The military isn't going to put up with this crap.

OBAMA / BIDEN in 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

39. How much does Damon know about Obama? Damon's a liberal robot. He doesn't have an original thought of his own and never will. That's Hollywood for you; self absorbed, uneducated people that have no clue about reality.

The Democrats will never learn. Making ignorant comments like this from individuals like Damon only rally the Republicans. And, unlike the Democrats, Republicans will actually get up and do something about it; like voting on November 4th!

Keep the comments coming, Oh Matty Boy!!!

40. It's really disappointing to see so many people being hateful to each other over politics. It seems America is divided and that is tragic. Tomorrow is the anniversary of 9/11.....we should all be kind to each other regardless of our beliefs. When you call some one names because they have a different opinion than you, what does that say about you? Not much. And it doesn't make you right. People are so hell bent on screaming how right they are, somehow the original message is lost. Can't we act a little more like adults, and have a civil political debate? It's not just here on TMZ...it's everywhere. It does make America look foolish.

41. What is "absurd", is that Matt Damon thinks anyone would care what he thinks? Matt, you're a great actor, and are entilted to your views, and to share them with whoever you choose. I also have a right to say that you're misinformed, and extremely ignorant. Do some research on the "book banning" story. It didn't happen. Your weekly "talking points" email from Obama needs to be updated!

42. ohhhh polarbear.... drink your koolaid and wait for the next celebrity sound bite so you know what to think next. Its really said that the liberal media has brainwashed you all.

43. Talk about arrogant! Do these people really think we admire them enough to have their points of view/rants affect our political choices? Heck half of them do not even know how to have an intelligent conversation.

Go McCain and Palin ---

44. To answer Pico's question:
Obama's experience level (to be President) is the same as McCain's: they are both Senators - remember?
The difference is that Obama is not only younger and more capable of living through his term, he has a very experienced VP to back him up, in case.
McCain, on the other hand, has one foot in the grave and has Palin, the failed beauty-queen, as his back-up.
Does that answer your question?

45. He is right. It is scary enough to think of mcCain getting into office. Honestly the man is too old and completely out of touch. He is 72 years old, he very well could die while in office and then we are stuck with Sarah. I'm sure Sarah Palin represents her state well, but Alaska is hardly representative of the United States as a whole. McCain is running a campain based on the likeability of his running mate and lying about Obama. People voted for George W. because he was "likeable" and look where that got us. A inadequate president who acts without considering what the people of his country want. No one is paying attention to the issues anymore. It's all about Sarah Palin, her pretty face and scrappy personality. No one is even concerned that she has little to no experience. I was a huge Hillary supporter so I am not sexist. I believe Hillary could have handled dealing with heads of state from around the world, but the hockey mom from Alaska? Give me a break. I have a sinking feeling of dread, because I think McCain could win this, only because of his cunning political move when choosing a running mate, otherwise he wouldn't have had a chance. Only when he is in office will people realize their mistake of putting him there. It's scary.
