Kanye West has just been arrested at LAX for felony vandalism.
A still photographer was trying to take pics of Kanye at the American Airlines terminal. According to our guy on the scene, Kanye allegedly confronted the photog and smashed his camera to the ground.
Our photog then began videotaping the scene when Kanye's bodyguard grabbed our camera -- a struggle ensued and the bodyguard threw the video camera to the ground, breaking it.
When Kanye realized our camera guy had videotaped the incident, he rushed our guy and yelled, "Gimme that f**king tape!"
Both Kanye and his bodyguard have been arrested and will be booked.

I see you, hi haters. All of you are jealous cuz Kanye has more talent in his little finger than you will ever have. Mad cuz he's a rich black man. Stop the hate. Enough is enough.
I think it's ridiculous that you people can stalk these celebrities to the point they explode, and then they are arrested. There should some sort of limitations on how closely you follow these people. They may be celebrities, but they're also human. They need their space; don't just walk side by side with them with a camera for no reason. Do you know how annoying that must feel? Of course you don't or else you wouldn't be in this line of work. It's sad...
I think the wrong guys were arrested. Photographers and paps should not be allowed in airports to snap pictures of celebrities. There is no reason and nothing to be gained by photographing a person in a terminal. People who are celebrities travel, just like everybody else...so what? You people stalk celebrities all over the place, and then you wonder why some start flipping you off, cursing, or going postal on you. People have a right to go to airports, gas stations, Target stores, hotels, and their own homes without you people following them. It's too bad our legislators haven't started to wake enough to protect peoples' privacy more.
Well, maybe President bush could give him clemency??? Oh yeah, I forgot, Bush "doesn't care about black people". Whaaaaaa
And they say blacks are more prone to violence...what a silly notion!!
Everyone who had to bring race up to make a comment is a idiot and you just show how ignorant and pathetic that you are as a person!
You people (celebrities) make so much money that you need to deal with it and get over yourselves. And on another note, you people make too much money to talk about everyday politics, so all you celebs need to just do your jobs and SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!!
So let me get this straight -- you guys harass a person to their breaking point, photograph and videotape it, and then present it as "news." Then you control the story and spin it any way you want to. "Oh, our poor guy was just mercillessly harassing an innocent man trying to mind his own business and the guy lost his temper. Poor us!!" You make me SICK! I hope it was expensive equipment that he broke!
Great! I am glad to see that some action is being taking against Stars in general for unacceptable behavior. They are humans like any of us and they should abide by the same laws and regulations we do on a daily basis! Good job LAPD and TMZ!
That is not right how they get to harass people on the regular and when stars don't want to be bothered THEY GET ARRESTED! Complete bull!
