My daughter went to Bonnaroo this summer and said Kanye's stupid demands to have darkness for his glow in the dark show were REDiculous and ruined other acts wanting to be on stage at the same time and *THEN* it was turning into daylight when he finally sang! 89. #83....that only makes you as much a racist as West is. The fact is, NO ONE was prepared for a disaster of that magnitude. And had more people evacuated when THEY WERE TOLD TO, it never would have been so bad. So if you want to spread your racist blame, then you have to include the BLACK mayor of NOLA, Ray Nagin as well. He let hundreds of busses sit in a parking lot and flood instead of using them to get people out.

NOLA was told to evacuate BEFORE Katrina hit. All those stranded after the storm came was their own damn fault. They had to chance to leave and didn't - has nothing to do with black or white, it has everything to do with smart or stupid and taking responsibility for your own choices.
