Kanye West has just been arrested at LAX for felony vandalism.
A still photographer was trying to take pics of Kanye at the American Airlines terminal. According to our guy on the scene, Kanye allegedly confronted the photog and smashed his camera to the ground.
Our photog then began videotaping the scene when Kanye's bodyguard grabbed our camera -- a struggle ensued and the bodyguard threw the video camera to the ground, breaking it.
When Kanye realized our camera guy had videotaped the incident, he rushed our guy and yelled, "Gimme that f**king tape!"
Both Kanye and his bodyguard have been arrested and will be booked.

You people really need to be shut down. You have no right to continue to harass stars who clearly don't want their photo taken, which is evidenced by Kanye wearing the hood of his jacket. Shouldn't video cameras and photographers be banned from airports? I mean, how do we know they are not terrorists filming for training videos?

I expected nothing less than the ignorant racist comments I see here. The E network has entire shows based on white actors and entertainers attacking photographers, and you laugh and cheer. The moment it's a black man someone has to be thrown in jail. No one was injured, and Kanye can afford to replace that raggedy little equipment a thousand times over. there's a fine line between taking a photograph of a celeb when the setting is right (aka award shows, high profile events, etc.) and then being a pain in the butt. with that said, any pap who takes a pic of a celeb in a time and place that isn't appropriate, in my mind should get their ass kicked. But at the same time, i don't think that their property should be vandalised. however, when u have no regard for a celeb's plea not to be photographed, then that's called harassment; i don't care how you slice it! Now whether you like Kanye or not, you know how he is, so why would you provoke this man? taking a pic of someone coming out of the airport isn't news worthy so why the hell would you bother? And for those who say why get into the business if you don't want to be photographed, have no clue how much these people are hounded when it simply isn't necessary. how would you like it if someone sat in front of: your house, office, restaurant, airport for hours on end, simply waiting for you to come out, follow you around in the shopping mall, won't let you drive out of your parking spot all so they can take pictures; cuz you know they don't take one! you'd be annoyed too!
