69. Under the U.K.'s mental health act, drug addiction is not enough to involuntarily commit a person. The Act states that one cannot be suffering from a mental disorder "by reason only of promiscuity or other immoral conduct, sexual deviancy or dependence on alcohol or drugs". Amy's parents need to focus on the law and find out how Amy can be involuntarily committed. Perhaps by arguing that the drug use is causing a mental disorder though it may not be a disorder in and of itself. If all else fails, Amy's parents need to kidnap Amy, cuff her to a bed and detox her on their own or watch her die.

72. I agree w/Big Jule. The enablers/vultures around Amy Winehouse seem to be keeping her drunk and stoned all the time so they can make money off of her. And it does seem as if people attend her performances to see what kind of car wreck will ensue. She's too young to continue this way. I just hope some kind of intervention takes place before she loses her life. Let's see if Mel Gibson can rescue her like he seems to have done with Britney Spears. Those who pray...please include Ms. Winehouse. That may be the only way.

I wish they would issue a court order like they did in brittanys case and commit her to a gaurdian.. they girl looks like a skeleten... I will prey for her ..
