Awkward, awkward, awkward. As always, that kwazy Barbara Walters saved the awkward day with one of those hilarious race-imperialist quips that just kill.

1133. The View, Oprah, Letterman, Jay, Stewart, Ellen, GMA, Today, etc. why so liberal? Here's why:
So if I'm part of an ethnic group that's less than 2% of the population how can we possibly gain control? We'd need to create allies. The majority we're up against are real capitalists, in fact they built their booming economy by inventing and manufacturing just about everything in the last century. We are more 'anti-capitalism' so we created unions. Now they all vote with us so they can make more money and not work as hard as their non-union neighbors. Another large group we recruited was Afro-Americans. We ran the Civil Rights movement, got them all sorts of programs, encouraged their population boom and now they are voting with us. But there was still too many of these original 'real american' type yahoos voting against us so we changed the immigration policy and let lots of different cultures in to make us more 'diverse'. They now get all kinds of benefits so they vote with us. Oh and the Gays are all ours. We totally support them and whatever excesses they can think of. That goes for child molesters, pornographers, gangstas- anything the Christian majority has a problem with. Our ACLU protects them. And makes sure we don't have to endure their Christmas celebration anymore.
Without much opposition we were able to buy up just about all of their information sources. We have our people writing and producing most of the news, movies, magazines, books, TV shows and reviews. Now our liberal fringe ideas are considered 'politically correct'. Lots of our award winning shows and articles (we control the awards of course) work in a little bit about how bad our government ,corporations and 'narrow minded white men' are and how really great and misunderstood gays, immigrants and minorities are. Our people run the public broadcasting, schools and universities making sure no alternative message gets through.
We had it made for a while. Then Limbaugh slipped through somehow. We got a book out as fast as we could -'Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot'. That's the kind of attack we use. Ann Coulter is stupid. O'Reilly is stupid. We do our best to control the Internet and soon hope to shut down what we consider 'hate' sites. No, not the DailyKos, that's good hate. Google is ours and we have so many rabid bloggers you'd think we were the majority in this 'democracy'.
We recruit any 'real american' types we can to be our puppets. They make a lot of money if they behave. Some of our favorites are Al Gore, Katie Couric, and any actors who want to work.
This country has really been a cakewalk. 'Real americans' were so caring and moral they'll accept all our schemes to buy voters using their tax dollars. More programs to help minorities and immigrants. They've seen nothing but positive portrayals from us so 'sure'.
We may have milked them dry now though. They seemed to have an endless supply of riches from their inventive creativity and hard work. A few of those early heroes like Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh tried to warn them about us. We sued and wrote negative stuff about them. That's worked very well for us. Like Joe McCarthy, ever seen anything positive about him? Okay only from Ann Coulter. She's stupid.
Anyone notice that Sherri and Elisabeth were quiet when the McCain's were on? Was Sherri silenced so as not to look more of an idiot ??? They sure clamp down on Elisabeth when it comes to political guests.
Barbara and Whoopie were their usual nagging Liberal selves. Boring. Tired. After thoughts. I used to be able to look past their politics, but after watching them repeatedly dump on Elisabeth and act all school-girl when Sen. Obama is on, I can no longer hold down my lunch.
Goodbye, The View. You used to be about different views, but no more.
Is it any wonder you've never earned The Emmy for this nag-fest?
People are saying that slavery is long gone and will never return but take a good look at some of the comments here at TMZ... racism IS alive and well in America. Whites have no idea what it's like to live as a black person in this country and this is coming from a white person.
So Whoopi makes a comment like that, and it's okay. If John McCain made an offhanded comment, it would be all over the liberal press. Why can't people, regardless of their views, be courteous enough to listen to what the other side has to say? I was undecided for quite some time, and was actually leaning toward Obama, until his claims he never heard his minister, after 20 years, make so many nasty racial comments. And then his association with the terrorist Clinton pardoned. That made me question him. When Sarah came in, she won my vote right away. We need some fresh perspectives in the White House. The good ol' boys club is out.
My ONLY fear of a McCain/Palin presidency is the eventual rioting in the streets. Shop owners beware.
"The problem NOW, in the midst of 'moving-on', WE are losing OUR identity as a culture, heritage, and community."
You mean by having babies with whites? hmmmmmmm

Yep.
BlackChick #59,
I posted before I read your own,
God Bless you,
I couldn't agree with you more!!!
Whoopi did not make an ignorant comment. . . it was actually genius for her agenda. It's called scare tactics. . . you know, what you guys always accuse us Republicans of using when we try to warn of the danger of terrorists! So this is the new spin, "vote for the black guy because the other guy wants slavery again!!" It's just this kind of thing that is winning people for McCain daily! :)
***McCain/Palin08***
I watched the show today and I was so disgusted that I wrote in to the show to express it. I could not believe how rude they treated Senator McCain and his wife. They were completely unprofessional, even Barbara. She wouldn't shut up long enough to let the Senator finish a sentence. Whoopi and Joy acted like they were back in elementary school with their smirks and winks at each other. Politics aside, he was a guest on their show and he should have been treated with the appropriate dignity he deserved. Whoopi's comment about slavery was completely inappropriate and a deliberate attempt to bait the Senator. Barbara bringing up the amount of homes they own was sophomoric journalism and beneath the stature of someone who has been in the business as long as she has. Cindy McCain handled that question in a very dignified manner and really put Barbara in her place in the process without being nasty.
I'm not 100% for John McCain but after seeing this despicable display today from the women on the View, I have to say I'm very impressed with how Senator and Mrs. McCain kept their composure, dignity, and graciousness. I'm not sure I'll ever watch The View again. They should all be ashamed of themselves for their lack of professionalism today. I'm embarrassed for them all.
When was Whoopie a slave? Or could this be a Freudian slip on the Woopsters part? Perhaps Babs Wawa is a real masser...a real slave driver if you know what I mean.
Seriously if given the chance I would ask her, Does taking 50% of my income count as involuntary servitude?
I feel that a couple people here have proven my point through their angry replies. I'm actually a bit "jaw-on-the-floor" over a few of the comments that were made, and as much as I would like to discuss tselect comments and the issue with these people, I can't allow myself to feed into their apparent need for attention. However I really must say, that EMOTIONS are NOT genetically inherited. I don't know who got you believing that one, but honey, it's not the truth. It seems like you are telling yourself this in order to make yourself believe it. I don't despise and hold the English people accountable because my Irish ancestors were held under their thumb for many years, ultimately resulting in their demise and death. Should I be walking around screaming "death to the Queen"? I don't think so.
The fact remains that Whoopi was totally out of line and disrespectul in her interactions with Mr. McCain. Not to mention she showed how uneducated and ignorant she was through her comments. I applaud him for being such a polite, patient guest. And yes, white Barbara was an embarrassment as well.
It's sad to think that journalists and the media are supposed to be unbiased and neutral when reporting or interviewing others. Now it seems like it's all an arena for their own personal agenda. That is why it's important to look at a candidates past actions and their history, and let those speak for them rather than listening to the media hype. Of course, some folks don't have much in the line of past actions and have very, very short histories.
I will no longer watch The View. It's turned into a Circus because of each and every Host that sits on the panel. Barbara included.
Whoopie is ignorant. She will never have to worry about being returned to slavery becasue she was NEVER A SLAVE! And to take his words and trwist them like that is so out of line. Everything is a race issue to her. I never watch the View and never will.
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
