Tom Brady and Former Coach Share a Weak Joint

Former New England Patriots offensive coordinator Charlie Weis now lives the same life as his former protege Tom Brady -- except for the whole supermodel girlfriend thing and various dieting challenges.

A nasty sideline collision on Saturday left the current Notre Dame head coach with a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee -- a la Tommy Boy.

But unlike Brady, Weis got right back up and finished the game.

1. If it's his left knee that's injured, then why is the brace on his right leg?

I don't think she wishes injury on him, but I don't think she'll be sending him a "Get Well" card.

8. Hate to tell you this, but Tom Brady went to the University of Michigan not Notre Dame and played for Lloyd Carr .
Look it up on Wikipedia and elsewhere.

9. OK to correct everyone who posted before me. MKfromMichigan Weis coached Tom in New England as a pro. And justanotherfknday, why don't I go and snap your knee in two and see how you like it? Football takes more brains then anything, and it is one of the few careers that college expereince is a must. These coaches put in 80 hour work weeks, and players spend at least 50 hours a week in meetings, practices etc. I feel for Charlie, he got screwed.
to bad it wasn't Jimmy Clausen who took that hit

10. Hopefully Brady will be out all season so some other team will have a chance to play in the Super Bowl. Sick of seing New England do so well. Hopefully, they'll begin losing again !!!

Posted at 4:59AM on Sep 15th 2008 by Remove Brady, and the Patriots will fall. Patriots are garbage.

11. Tom Brady WILL be out for the season. As bad as that may sound I think Matt Cassel did a GREAT job BEATING those annoying JETS. How do you like us now? You got beat by our BACKUP QB. hahahaha.
