Tina probably knows what the Bush Doctrine is.
Baseball Junkie~ Ms. Kirby requested the typos. She apparently prides herself on spelling corectly. Please don't call me "ridiculous" Thank you. Good night.

Newsflash, Tiny Fey doesn't know what the Bush doctrine is and neither did Charlie Gibson. It's already been shown by the man the coined the term, Charles Krauthammer, that Gibson didn't know what he was talking about when he was lecturing Palin and, in fact, Palin's explanation of the Bush doctrine was more correct than Gibson's.
Also, ABC very deceptively edited Palin's comments to make it seem her only response to that question about Russia was that it was visible from Alaska. Go and watch the unedited response and Palin gave an intelligent long answer to the question of Russia and only said at the end something about how maintaining good relations with Russia is vital for a number of reasons inculding that they are a close neighbor. Typical liberal manipulations and distortions courtesy of artful editing..go check out the entire interview..
I thought the opening was great. My view is that I am glad I graduate from college with my B.A. soon..because if McCain wins, I'll need to move to Canada to get a job with my degree. You can't find jobs or buy a house with a reasonable percentage rate in Michigan anymore because the idiot that's in there now ran the country into the ground to the point that Canadian money is worth more than the dollar. Sigh, these are sad times.
Re: CT's comments -- as a public-school teacher, I can assure you that parents ALWAYS have the right to keep their children from participating in any sex-ed class they find objectional.....again, it's about making the right choices for oneself and one's family. If a parent only wants their kids to be taught an abstinence-only approach, that's their business, but please don't dictate that decision to others who don't share those views. And as for other posters claiming that Roe v. Wade is a "moot point" I wish that were so, but it can be overturned by an overly-conservative Supreme Court, and making abortion rights a state-by-state issue will mean that a great many women and girls -- particularly the poor and the trapped, who cannot manage to travel to a state where abortions are legal -- will either end up bearing babies they really don't want, or they will do what desperate women have always done, and attempt to abort themselves, with disastrous consequences, because only certain states will remain pro-choice. Palin chose to give birth to a baby that she knew had Down Syndrome and I respect her decision, which was obviously right for her. But, whether you agree or not, the majority of prospective parents who are faced with the prospect of a child with Down Syndrome, or some other serious physical malady, choose to terminate the pregnancy, and it's not my rights or yours, and certainly not Palin's, to take that right away from them.
CT, It was your original comment to her about the mistakes in her comment not your response to her request for clarification which I was referring to. And my final sentence , ridiculous was not an attempt to declare you to be ridiculous but that the argument was. I'm sorry if the lack of clarity offended you. That was not my intention.
I can understand about your having some conservative values as well as your liberal ones. I think any intelligent person would.
I want my daughter taught about birth control and STDs in school rather than at home because obviously not all parents do teach their children about birth control and those children end up pregnant of fathers before they have even finished high school. This happened to more than one of my daughter's classmates. Clearly education is not always enough but if the schools explain the value of prophylactics then when teenagers allow things to go to far they don't end up in situations which have the potential to ruin their futures. Yes, it is possible to finish high school and go on to college with a child but it is much more difficult.
I also have a problem with Sarah Palin's stance on evolution v creationism. It has been said by more than one religious figure "God is who, evolution is how". I have absolutely no question that God created the universe but that does not mean he created every single thing in it just as it is now. In fact, the Sarah Palins of the world insist on denying the evolution which has occurred within the last 100 years. I'll explain if any one really cares but the details are a bit long.
Go Sox
' The problem with Palin is that she has used all the benefits of the women's movement to get where she is today, but wants to turn around and use her position to set the movement back 50 years.....she wants to eliminate abortion in ALL cases including rape and incest, she wants to eliminate the teaching of evolution and have "creationism only" taught in schools'
Those are flat out lies. First, Palin didn't use the women't movement to get where she is. She wasn't, like Hillary, alternative actioned into a politics by way of a famous husband. Palin got where she is ALL on her own. Second, she is not against abortion in ALL cases as you say. She allows for abortions when the mother's life is in danger. She is prolife and is consistent and, therefore, doesn't beieve that a child should be killed simply because the conditions of their conception were unfortunate or even a crime. And, she DOES NOT support the teaching of creationism! You are an ignorant liar for trying to continue that blatant lie. Palin has said she fully believes in evolution, pointing out that her father is a science teacher. If Palin is really so bad, why do her enemies have to lie about her? Truth is, they are terrified of her and will do anything to trash her..typical liberal hypocrisy..they are supposed to be the honest ones, the truth speakers but they will lie through their teeth to get wha tthey want.
Obama is an empty suit, and the polls are starting to reflect that. Democrats, once again have imploded.
There is no Bush Doctrine! It was a BS question. I'd like to see someone fully
explain what the Bush Doctrine is...please. I wish people would do there own research instead
of just following the crowd. I bet half of the people bashing Sarah Palin for this has know idea what
it is either. It came from a quote that President Bush gave before the Iraq invasion.
It was merely a quote...the doctrine doesn't exist and that is why Sarah Palin doesn't know anything about it.
Camille Paglia aside, I gotta say that you girls really know how to hate on each other. I think women preferred Hilary Clinton because no guys in the country would fantasize about her. Now we're got a self-made woman in the finals and you ladies can't stand it. You don't have to worry about us guys keeping you down -below the glass ceiling - you'll do it just fine on your own.
Actually, you should do your homework. There is no official "Bush Doctrine." Palin was well-justified when asking him to be more specific. Do your research and educate yourselves. I'm sure TMZ is filled with liberals who are one-sided and biased like every other blog, but hopefully you aren't as pitiful as US Weekly.

That's right, there is nothing written down anywhere as the Bush doctrine. I've heard on TV that it could be any of four things, including preemptively attacking another country. I've seen two people saying that they don't know what Gibson meant either. Sarah Palin did fine. Also in asnwering the gotcha question on Georgia and NATO.
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
