Paul Will Be Dead, Says Islamic Preacher

Paul McCartney is playing at Israel's 60th anniversary, and it's making Islamic folks all hot under the hijab.

A militant Muslim leader is threatening the ex-Beatle with a suicide bombing if he doesn't cancel his September 25 gig in Tel Aviv, according to the Sunday Express. Omar Bakri, a preacher, says, "He will not be safe there. The sacrifice operatives will be waiting for them."

Macca has said he wouldn't bend to thug pressure.

31. This guy sounds like a real nut job. Godbless Paul and anyone else who speaks the voice of freedom. I wish we never got into 2 wars in that part of the world cause now it's all about killing or being killed.

38. Too bad his own Country has been so lenient on Muslims the most popular birth name for England right now is Mohammed.

Where is the outrage from the Muslim Communities of England towards this savage threat?

Wake up London...Like in "London Calling" or it will soon be "Lights out in London". War on your soil, not ours for your cowardice towards immigration. England is now Islamabad West. Canada is next. US still OK, but keep eyes open.

Sir Paul---your sacrifice might be the best wake up call any of us have had. The Twin Towers didnt do it, but your passing would finally bring all peoples united against the Evil Racial Islamics. But where are the everyday supposed "just like us" Mainstream Muslims of England and Canada on this matter?

Silence is not golden on this one. Silence is complicency

39. And people want to vote for Barrak? Open your eyes PEOPLE they want to kill us all. Just like Hitler wanted all the Jewish people dead. This is serious problem and I wish American would get it through their heads that we can not let the Muslims put there man in our top seat. PLEASE read about Barrak, his family doesn't have any likeness for our country nor does any of his so called friends. If you want to distroy what our founding fathers and Mothers did for us; then vote for him and your daughter and wives girlfriends will lose all there abilities we fought so hard for in the past 150 years.
If I offended anyone then they haven''t done their homework on Barrak and his Muslim friends. This is not a vote for popularity or skin color, this is a vote for freedom and who can handle what we want as Americans.

40. If having a concert on the same day as the 60th anniversary as Israel is bad and disrespectful... wouldn't blowing up a concert on the same day as the 60th anniversary be, um, bad as well?

Oh well, hehe, I guess religious fanaticism isn't supposed to make sense. "If you disrupt the peace by playing music we'll BLOW UP EVERYTHING!" Yeah. Way to make a threat.

43. Paul can take all the advice from security people and make his choice. That's his part of the equation.

The other half of the equation is the degenerate despots who are Muslim extremists. Look folks, ever since they started selling oil from the desert, the tribes and cultures of the Arabs have been undergoing rapid and sometimes major cultural disruption. The reaction has been inconsistent, with some areas being fairly stable, educated, secure, moderate and civil. In other areas there has been the rise of despots, dictators, radicals and total disruption. I'm convinced the religious part is just a mask. The basis of the problem is a culture undergoing excessive and extended disruption. The Muslim world needs to find itself. Maybe some areas already have. Others are very screwed up economies we all know there are extensive religious splits, but what is it based on? Old tribal competition? New competition for ownership of oil? One tribe managing and their neighbors becoming desperate but not cooperating in a regional solution? Regarding pop music, it's irrelevant.

It's nothing but identification of a highly confused despot for anyone to think Paul McCartney is the source of any of their problems or that he is responsible for making any of it any worse or even any better. Israel and Palestine aren't going to hang out at the cafe playing poker together just because McCartney sings a song or three. Get real already! Geez!

44. "goat smelling"?

Hmmmm. I'm just wondering, what is the best angle of approach, if you intend on smelling a goat?

45. Response to Post #38 by "Idiot": exactly!! Silence is the same as appoval. I don't see any outrage about extremists within the Muslim community. They're not speaking out saying it's got to stop, that they are going to stop it, that they must stop it, or anything of the sort.

MAKE NO MISTAKE: the muslim cultures are just that: a culture with religion threaded right through it, such as back in the medieval days of Europe when church was government, and we all know that Christianity is nothing but a degenerate mass of stupidity, rage and death when it is given power over people as the track record illustrates. Now it's the Muslim's turn to take a look at themselves, and that awakening seems to be going very slow, as evidenced by the low levels of those wishing to publically denounce the extremists. They need their own standout heroes supporting peace, moderation, democracy, freedom, civil society and tolerance. GOOD LUCK FOLKS! I'm convinced there's going to be some bitter exchanges before the Muslim world realizes it has to be responsible on the world stage and we live in a VERY secular world.
