Kat DeLuna Enters Roseanne Hall of Fame
The only person who can sing the "Star Spangled Banner" like Whitney Houston is Whitney Houston -- and Kat DeLuna is no Whitney.

31. HORRIBLE! I'm glad they booed her off. And what the hell about making a big deal out of "National Hispanic Month"? THis is America and I'm sick of being forced to listen to spanish everywhere. Makes me sick.

33. Looks like we've all found yet another way to waste our time bickering and complaining!

34. She didn't get booed. It just so happened, unfortunately, that the hated Eagles starting lineup ran onto the field just as she was singing her last few notes, and Texas Stadium was filled to capacity with excited Cowboys fans who booed THEM, not her. She did miss a few high notes, but I thought her rendition was fantastic, and so did the fans...GO COWBOYS!!!

35. Ugh.
Just sing the song. It doesn't need to be embellished. It doesn't need any extra notes. It doesn't need your "special touch". It doesn't need to be made to sound like hip-hop, or funk, or R&B, or soul, or blues. Just sing it as it was written. Then get off the field.

36. I know the singing was terrible but I don't know if the crowd was actually booing her or booing because the Eagles just happened to run onto the field right after she sang. I know the Cowboys weren't on the field yet so maybe the Eagles ran on right after she was finished and the crowd was actually booing them. Someone that attended the game would have to confirm this because ESPN didn't show the end of the field that the vistor comes out of.

37. That was a total mess. I've never heard of this person and hopefully will never have to hear to "so called singing" again. To butcher our National Anthem like that is disrespectful!!!

38. Most of it was okay, but she was REALLY out of tune on two notes, when she sang "Free" and at the end with "Brave." Made me shudder... ugh...

39. wasn't terrible until she neared the end and tried to spice it up.. which isn't really necessary with our anthem; it's a beautiful song just the way it is. she shouldn't have tried to hit those high notes, because that's what made it unpleasant.. but besides that, i do believe us texans were booing the P.O.S. eagles, not her. : )

40. Ms. DeLuna apparently watches too much American Idol, making the anthem "her own". Talk about making the National Anthem her own personal showcase. Unfortunately she failed miserably. I don't think she has a bad voice overall. It was her over-the-top over-dramatic presentation that was the problem. The growling I could have done without, for example, as well as all of the gesturing and finger pointing. Also, "gleaming", "streaming" and "bursting" all have the letter "g" at the end. I believe I heard "gleamin'", "streamin'" and "burstin'". Please don't forget that all-important "g" next time!

41. The Star Spangled Banner should be sung and presented with the up most respect. It is not about her terrible voice, it is about her failed attempt to make a traditional tribute unique and different. People are not looking for a new and exciting way to sing this song; people want to sing along in unison and show their respect for their country. Where was her manager?!?! Better yet, her parents?!?! Someone should have said something during her rehearsal and put a stop to her nationwide embarrassment.

42. Why do you's people always need to ruin the National Anthem?

43. While I dont disagree that she was terrible, the Cowboys fan were Booing the Eagles who were running out onto the field.

44. I agree that The Star Spangled Banner isn't a song to "make your own." These people need to sing it the way it's meant to be sung and put their own twist on another song. To quote Simon.."that was horrid!!"

45. She was bad but people didn't have to boo her. She probably felt happy and had her family watching and everything and might have over sang it because of that. Americans are such tools. You people are something else. Yet let something happen and you are all for your people right? She sucked just clap and keep on with your life. Why take the time out to boo someone just to make them feel bad?
