48. tAmericans are too conservative.. Kat DeLuna was very good. She just gave some rythm at the anthem. I’m from Québec, and we don’t boo our signers when it comes to add a little of their touch to our National Anthem. This is really mean and unrespectful! If you want to ear the boring old way of signing the Star Spangled banner, ask our wonderful Celine Dion!

49. Shes still a young woman, but it sounded like she was trying too hard.. Sometimes the National anthem sounds great when its sung the way it was written!! She is no whitney, christina, or Mariah, but get off her back.

50. It wasn't great, wasn't the worst. It is known to be one of the most difficult songs to sing, all singers state this. I actually felt bad how the people reacted. Hopefully it will simply be a learning experience for her. Hopefully it was just the Eagles coming out onto the field. It's just a ballgame folks but I have to admit I felt kind of bad for her.

52. There's no reason to F up our anthem so bad. All the wannabe singers want to put their own spin on it, and every time they try - it sucks. They should get out there and sing it with respect - how it's meant to be.
IMHO =- she should be ashamed of herself!

53. Easily one of the worst renditions ever. Absolutely horrible. Just sing the song the way it's meant to be sung. I don't like all the embellishments usually, but add that with pitchy notes all over the place...yikes.

54. It started out OK but totally went downhill half way through!! It almost seems like she was making the moment more about her and her so called "singing skils" than the song. Awful and ridiculous is all I can say about the performance.

I was watching the game on TV and heard her,I thought my ears were bleeding.I felt ashamed to actually be the same race as her cuz she is dominican.She butchered the National Anthem by overdoing it with those stupid hand gestures thinking she was Beyonce or Mariah.She will never be one of those.I may be of dominican race,but i'm an american first and foremost and she does not do that anthem justice.

56. Kat... poor thing. It's so sad when a vocalist thinks they are better than they really are. I don't blame her though. I blame her family and friends for encouraging this tone deaf young lady. This is a perfect example of what happens when you lie to your children and tell them they do something well when they really don't. In the end, the child just ends up getting embarrassed. My advice to parents: Don't encourage your children if they suck at something. You never know if they may one day be asked to perform the National Anthem in front of millions of people only to F it up!

60. 1ST OFF, WHAT NOBODY SEEMS TO MENTION IS THAT SHE IS SINGING LIVE!!! WHITNEY OR BEYONCE OR EVEN MARIAH DIDNT EVEN SING LIVE, SO GIVE HER SOME KIND OF CREDIT!!! She wasnt great i agree, but she is a good singer, and just went a little overboard; less is more my dear, less is more. But all in all, I feel bad for her, she didnt deserve to be booed, that was disrespectful, cause it take a lot of courage to sing in front of millions of ppl/viewers.
