McCain Swings at Barack Over Lindsay

9/17/2008 2:06 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

John McCainJohn McCain has weighed in over Barack Obama's reported slap in the face to Lindsay Lohan. The Chicago Sun-Times quotes an unnamed high-level Barack source who says they rejected Lohan's offer to host an event because she "is not exactly the kind of high-profile star who would be a positive for us."

Tucker Bounds, a spokesman for the McCain campaign tells TMZ, "So let me get this straight -- they turned away Lindsay Lohan, but Barack Obama has friends like unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers and convicted felon Tony Rezko? Maybe LiLo is just too upstanding for Barack Obama."

UPDATE: Tommy Vietor, Obama's spokesperson, just told TMZ, "Glad to see they're focused on the important issues over in McCain HQ."

251. I was undecided about this prez race until today!!!!! Thank you everyone for your opinions. GO!!! OBAMA!!!!! Please win this race.

Hopeful, I'm sorry but I don't believe anyone on this board persuaded you to vote for Obama. you were in the tank for him all along. He has not done anything recently to gain any votes. Thats my opinion.
By choosing to call yourself Hopeful, thats a dead give away. We shgould all be careful of what we ask for, we just migh t get it. Then what? Obama has already sold the Black community out, but for some reason they are still there ready to attack anyone who does not agree with Obama being presiden tof the US.

Mr. A

Hmmm...let's see. Yeah, I WAS going to vote for Obama, but after I read what Lindsay Looniehan had to say about the choice VP for McCain, and then to come here and read all these horrible comments supporting Looniehans comments and throwing even more disgusting hateful commentary towards the woman governor from Alaska (that nobody even really knows all that much about...YET) I've decided to throw my support towards the McCain/Palin camp!

yeah..that's it!

What?

Doesn't anybody believe me?

Palin is so harshly against sex education and abortions, I'D REALLY LIKE TO KNOW HOW MANY ABORTIONS SHE'S HAD!

I'm guessing she's had one or two. They probably went very well, medically speaking. Sarah couldn't handle it though, she's avoiding reality for some reason and maybe that's it? Something tapping on her shoulder? Guilt? Guilt about what? Lying perhaps? About everything? About getting so far down the wrong road? The opposite of the pristine virgin girl we see in polyester 50's wear?

If she had the abortions, did she not tell anyone at all? What's the truth? Why is she so adamant against that? Don't give me any bullcrap about faith or belief, that's NEVER the reason, it's always a decoy. She wants distance. From what? Americans need to know, because her influence will be on public policy and we don't need any psychopaths using public policy to vent their own demons or as an act of misguided catharsis or evasion.

This ain't over by a long shot folks, get ready for reality!

I don't give a crap if she's had 50 abortions, but I do care a great deal that I don't see her as honest. What is the truth about Sarah Palin?

Somehow...I get the feeling that Sarah Palin looks like PolarBear's 1st grade teacher Miss Peach who flunked him for poor listening and reading skills?

Whatever it is....you need to get a grip on this obsession thing you got going on against Sarah Palin. You're ranting like a loonie. I bet you think the Sept. 11th attacks were an inside job also? Bush ordered a Hurricane to be created and directed towards the Black people in New Orleans? Hell, I bet you even think wrestling is real?

I bet if you put that chipped tooth of yours (the one you chipped biting at the image of Palin on your computer screen) under the pillow tonight...the tooth fairy will give you at least a dime for it??

Response to Mr. A: touche on the professional wrestling. That made me laugh. Well, it is a real money maker, that part of reality it has always had a smart eye on. I don't know where you got the hurricane from. If Bush could direct hurricanes, wouldn't he keep them away from putting the soak on Crawford, TX?

9/11 an inside job? Before we go there, we stilll need answers for Building 7, the speed of collapse of the twin towers, the molten metal below all three buildings, the desperate need to refit the twin towers at a cost of at least $200 million, that no plane went into the Pentagon and that witnesses to the spot where the fourth plane was to have crashed said there was only a smoking hole, with no plane parts whatsoever, no bodies, nothing. Also, the removal of evidence from the 9/11 site (beams) before inspection, the standdown or NORAD, the odd wargame changes, the activity of Cheney and Rumsfeld and the Bush's parents that morning, that Bush himself sat there like an idiot reading kids books when the country was being attacked for the first time since what, 1812?

Follow that by the abnormally rapid identification of suspects, that they were Saudi's, not Iraqis or Iranians or Syrians or even Mossad for that matter. Then of course you have to take into account all the tie-ins of security companies and their staff and tie-ins to government officials. Also, the Mossad units in the Pentagon and we mustn't forget Larry Silverstein's ludicrous explanation for how Building 7 came down and how he won a $3.6 BILLION insurance claim on the WTC towers.

Silverstein claimed he always had breakfast meetings at the top of the towers that he never missed but for some reason that morning of 9/11 he was pulled away by some minor issue. Silverstein claimed that the firemen told him on the afternoon of 9/11 that they wanted to "pull" Building 7, and then it went down perfectly, around what, 5pm? only about 8 hours after the initial plane hit the area! Building 7 wasn't hit by anything, and only had a couple small fires going on hours later! Why would there even be fires, considering the high profile people leasing in that building! Much more importantly, there is no way on Earth to call a demolition crew, get the inspection, sign the agreement, get the building set up for demolition and then have it "pulled", which means to bring it down by demolition, all starting at 9am and having demolition same day. This is from the lips from Larry Silverstein, owner of the WTC towers.

Then of course there was the fact that all three towers fell for "official" reasons that architecture, material, history and demolition experts around the world call complete bunk. It should not have happened, let alone perfectly vertical and at the speed of gravity. Video's show the thermite eating the beams and the extremely loud explosions at the base of the towers long before they fell - coming from deep in the basements! Fireman and witnesses videod it all!

So, it WAS an inside job and the question is both WHO and WHY. If we go for WHY first, that gets confusing when lost in the details but the big picture produced is that the American public easily tolerated ANY military reaction, and Cheney, Bush and Rumsfeld started to dance. WHY would they do it? Oil? Problems with the Saudi money in the US? Too many problems? Further imploding the constitution for the benefit of corporate raiders?

Then we have the Governor Spitzer investigation in the Silverstein and Carlyle Group financial activity and desperation there, as Silverstein pulled out $14 billion from Carlyle, which puts lots of negative pressure on NY pension funds. Carlyle is a Bush family business. Of course they went after Spitzer like dogs, tying him to a prostitute in the media. What the media isn't noticing is that before Spitzer took office as NY Governor, Spitzer, as a prosecutor, had targeted the United States Banking System for vast theft of money from the American public, and had won billions in judgments against Bear Stearns, Credit Suisse First Boston, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Chase, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Salomon Smith Barney and UBS Warburg.

Just a few questions to get answers to while, or before we get to "who"!

Just a few questions about why there is all this centralization of financial control, with the government having far too much influence, in a very unAmerican way, over the finance industry. Now the top banks can take over commercial, as of this evening. This is all going in a very centralized direction extremely rapidly. Anyone paying attention?

Sarah Palin tries to assure that rape victims pay for their own medical examinations, when the state was mostly successful of ridding that practice from everywhere else in the state:

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/21/palin.rape.exams/index.html

From CNN website, Sept 22, 2008
"ANCHORAGE, Alaska (CNN) -- Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's hometown required women to pay for their own rape examinations while she was mayor, a practice her police chief fought to keep as late as 2000.

A former Alaskan lawmaker says it seems unlikely that Gov. Sarah Palin was unaware of Wasilla's policy.

Former state Rep. Eric Croft, a Democrat, sponsored a state law requiring cities to provide the examinations free of charge to victims. He said the only ongoing resistance he met was from Wasilla, where Palin was mayor from 1996 to 2002.

"It was one of those things everyone could agree on except Wasilla," Croft told CNN. "We couldn't convince the chief of police to stop charging them."

Alaska's Legislature in 2000 banned the practice of charging women for rape exam kits -- which experts said could cost up to $1,000."

The article claims "For years, Alaska has had the worst record of any state in rape and in murder of women by men. The rape rate in Alaska is 2.5 times the national average." - so why is Palin so plastic, mean, can't face reality, joins a "end times" cult, doesn't want women to have choice?

Does she have abortions in her background? Was she raped by yahoos shooting wolves from helicopters? Something she's embarrased about and can't deal with realistically, willing to drag the rest of the country down because of some sociopathic evasion? If so, that's not exactly a sign of consciously applied, comprehensive and objective professional leadership, it's the opposite. Plastic. Doomed. Evasion. Was it friends of hers that were raped or had abortions? Somebody she hated? Thinks she got even with a schoolyard bullygirl from way back? NA NA NA NA NA NA to Sarahs' grade 5 bullygirl for getting an abortion? Rubbing it in?

I KNEW IT....I KNEW IT!!

PB's a 9/11 conspiracy theorist!! LOL!!

As far as they financial mess you're hearing & reading about?? That's the handy dandy work of the Democratic RUN House for ya. Aren't they the ones that look out for the little guy, the poor people and go after big business and corporations in order to achieve that directive?

Yeah, i thought so. Not only to they just end up chasing them out of the country entirely with their ridiculous demands, but then they had to strong arm our financial institutions into giving out BAD loans, so every underprivileged, under paid American could live (if even BRIEFLY) the American dream of owning their own HOME. Then, when they're messiah OBAMA becomes president, the stats will already have been padded and they'll trumpet it up over the state of our economy and how X amount of Americans are in their very own HOMES! Yaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!

Well, the sh@#s already blew up in their face and NOW, even the people who COULD pay their mortgages are in danger of losing everything. Do the research...your buddy Obama ("i screwed your mama and your pooch") has his dirty little hands all over that deal.

btw....ROSIE O'DONNELL is NOT a good source of information on the 9/11 attacks. Steel DOES melt!

OK. We read your paranoid, hateful and bitter theory on McCain and Palin, care to write an essay om just EXACTLY what you think an Obama/Biden ticket will do to make it all peachy again? I know one thing that will DEFINITELY change, and that's the way the liberal media and hollywood treat them. Other than that, it's usually business as normal and just the way it's FED to us varies.

Imagine if i used my first amendment right to follow you to work everyday, just to hang around and ridicule you all day?

"maaaan..you SUCK!" "HOLY CRAP...they PAY you to do this?" "hey...I heard you slapped your wife and kicked the dog last night?' "They should FIRE you!" "My 8 year old can do a better job than you".

NAH! I don't feel "stupid" for voting for Bush.....just sabotaged.

I'm a little confused. Let me see if I have this straight.....

* If you grow up in Hawaii, raised by your grandparents, you're "exotic, different."

* Grow up in Alaska eating moose burgers, a quintessential American story.

* If your name is Barack you're a radical, unpatriotic Muslim.

* Name your kids Willow, Trig and Track, you're a maverick.

* Graduate from Harvard law School and you are unstable.

* Attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, you're well grounded.

* If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate's Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States Senate representing a
state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran's Affairs committees, you don't have any real leadership experience.

* If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you're qualified to become the country's second highest ranking executive.

* If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while raising 2 beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you're not a real Christian.

* If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you're a Christian.

* If you teach responsible, age appropriate sex education, including the proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of society.

* If , while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no other option in sex education in your state's school system while your unwed teen daughter ends up pregnant , you're very responsible.

* If your wife is a Harvard graduate lawyer who gave up a position in a prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city community, then gave that up to raise a family, your family's values don't represent America's.

* If you're husband is nicknamed "First Dude", with at least one DWI conviction and no college education, who didn't register to vote until age 25 and once was a member of a group that advocated the secession of Alaska from the USA, your family is extremely admirable.

OK, much clearer now.

malone.. don't talk about your education a meer sentence ahead of "I am black and women" It makes you look the oposite of educated and negates whatever your message actually was. Also I didn't appreciate your reference to the "one good thing" Bush did with the tiny bit of cash this past year that didn't really do a damn thing for anyone. You know how many civilian goverment positions were cut to make that happen? I'm not exactly sure either, but it was alot. I appreciate your enthusiasm, however, and hope that you see it through and vote when called upon to do so.

First of all,why is it that we live in the "30 is the new 20" "60 is the new 45"etc society-until it fits to accuse somebody of being old! Even having cancer in your lifetime-a few times-isn't held against you-hello Lance Armstrong! He has had cancer many times, always has a young girl on his arm, and it is whoop whoop! These OLD stars &people in tvland run around dressed like they are twenty w/their eyes pulled back to their ears & we all want to be that way-but John McCain is old??By the way FOX just had the results of a compilation of earmarks for &from lobbyist & for wasteful spending in congress (Monday A.M.)because Obama had been accussing McCain of it.An independant did the study & found that Biden was like 4th from the bottom of the list for having SO many in his history(but he has been in for25+ yrs) Obama, who has been in just three is #16! This means he had to work REAL hard to catch up with almost thorty yrs of wastful spending &earmarking for lobbyist causes. Guess who they found was 100% of the entire 30+ yrs in congress at top of list for NEVER doing it? That's right, McCain! Obama caught in yet another lie!!Then they announced that they found out that Bush's proposal for Social Security was not what Obama had been trying to make it out to be and was actually something that would've helped the citizens-BUT,everytime he sent it through, the DEMOCRATIC congress shot him down! People don't realize that it doesn't matter who we put in office if we don't get those same people out of congress, NOBODY will be able to help us!!

Also, check out Kennedy vs. Louissianna. You will see the worst case of having the democrats in charge!Congress fought tooth &nail to keep Republican judges from being appointed to Supreme Court. This is an example of their work! They overturned the death sentence of a man that raped his 7yr old stepdaughter SO badly that her insides were ripped apart! The dr.said he had never seen anything so bad &she almost bled to death before surgery/will never have kids. They,in their infinite wisdom, said that it was because"the rape of a child is not an actual'rape'as defined by law"AND that "the children will'get over it',but to put to death a man for doing this is MUCH WORSE than the actual crime commited" THEN they changed the law so that NO state can decide for itself if they will use the death penalty. They have made it against the law. I bet if it were their child/grandchild, they would feel differently, but hey, it was JUST a little black girl! How pathetic!!The Republican judges made them include their statements in the law which read"anyone that would do this to a child is the lowest of the low". Now perverts will not kill these kids, they will just mutilate them&ruin ANY life that they will have, because the truth is they NEVER get over it,then they will serve a few years for good behavior, be out to do it again!! PLEASE READ THIS!KENNEDY vs.LOUISSIANNA, handed down this June/july.Then think about everything that is involved in the decision for president. It isn't just about finances-they have been bad for the last12-15 yrs for most.Help our kids too by writing your Governors &those judges to let them know how you feel about this.PROTECT OUR CHILDREN

This whole thing is a sad commentary on the state of American politics. Never have I seen an election as heated as this one and I've been around for quite a while. It saddens me that we are still so divided over race in this country. I am a white woman living in Michigan and I work for a black-owned company in Detroit. Talk about being on the other side! I have gotten quite an education in the last 4 years on black culture working in this environment. (By the way, I grew up in the Washington, DC area). I wish race was a non-issue. I want to see what each candidate really stands for, what they havef really done/not done. I do not want to see a partial black man win because he is labeled black, any more than I want to see McCain win because he chose a white woman as his running mate. It is hard enough to get the straight story from anybody in politics without all this mudslinging! I think I'll write Mickey Mouse on my ballot with Minnie as his running mate. And, maybe, Goofy can be the Secretary of State. Unbelievable!
