68. Chevy Girl, et al...Sure you have no problem voting for a black man. Yeah you do. You think because you're not burning crosses or using the N word you're all civilized. Everybody is guilty of judging a book by it's cover, that includes readily making and accepting assumptions, stereotypes, of people of another race. His name is Obama, he must be Muslim, he went to Harvard, he's an uppity black man (elitist),....etc. It's not your fault, it's a "truth" that has been ingrained in your subconscious since birth. This is why it would be easy to believe Obama' is a "closet" Muslim or that he doesn't have the experience, etc.

Those who wanted Hillary Clinton I never understood. What experience did she have except that she lived in the White House for 8 years; she has no passion, she'd just hunger for power. I would have admired her more if she had the balls to kick Bill to the curb when he publicly shamed her with that disgusting scandal involving Monica Lewinsky.


The Barack Obama I've seen and heard loves his country and his family; he has compassion for those with less because he's lived and seen it, he truly believes he can help make America better. He deserves a chance inspite of the color of his skin. Besides, when was the last time there was a loving family in the White House? When was the last you saw a president that openly admits to loving the woman who stands beside him? I think the image of a strong loving family is a nice face for America.

The McCain family isn't it....it's just more of the same.
How could you trust a man like McCain, he cheated on his first wife, meaning he had a wife and a girlfriend when he fell in love with Ms. Moneybags Cindy McCain. Cindy McCain won't acknowlede her half siblings, she inherited and kept the bulk of her father's estate. she stole drugs from the charities that were trying to help 3rd world orphans. What does that have to do with being president you ask? It goes to a person's values and their character. Yes I've heard he's a war hero, but who really knows the real reasons why John chose to stay a prisoner rather than come home. I don't see a "Maverick" , I see a still spoiled little boy who is use to getting his way....and will lie, cheat, extort in order to win.
That's not a presidential canadiate, that's a little boy who lacks emotional intelligence, that's a spoiled brat who never grew up.

In 2001, three bills were proposed to help babies who survived induced labor abortions. One, like the federal Born Alive Infants bill, simply said a living "homo sapiens" wholly emerged from his mother should be treated as a "'person,' 'human being,' 'child' and 'individual.'"

On all three bills, Obama voted "present," effectively the same as a "no." Defining "a pre-viable fetus" that survived an abortion as a "person" or "child," he argued, "would essentially bar abortions, because the Equal Protection Clause does not allow somebody to kill a child, and if this is a child, then this would be an anti-abortion statute."

In 2002, Obama voted "no" on the bill.

75. #67. Illinois law ALREADY protacted babies born alive, reagardless of what happened with that bill. Babies didn't die becasue of Obama no matter how you spin it.
Visit fackcheck.org to see why he voted no. It had to do with protecting Roe v. Wade. As a lawyer he understood this.
