Ryan O'Neal Busted in Meth Mess

There is no father/son bonding activity quite like being busted together for methamphetamine.
Ryan O'Neal and son Redmond were booked on suspicion of narcotics possession this morning.

Authorities said they were doing a probation search at the family's Malibu home when they found Redmond O'Neal in possession of methamphetamine and a vial of the drug was allegedly found in Ryan's bedroom.

The father/son are being held on $10,000 bail.

It doesn't take a genius to make it big in Hollywood. Judging by the following group of high school dropouts and GED alumni, it wasn't cool to stay in school.

McCain Swings at Barack Over Lindsay

John McCain has weighed in over Barack Obama's reported slap in the face to Lindsay Lohan. The Chicago Sun-Times quotes an unnamed high-level Barack source who says they rejected Lohan's offer to host an event because she "is not exactly the kind of high-profile star who would be a positive for us."

Tucker Bounds, a spokesman for the McCain campaign tells TMZ, "So let me get this straight -- they turned away Lindsay Lohan, but Barack Obama has friends like unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers and convicted felon Tony Rezko? Maybe LiLo is just too upstanding for Barack Obama."

UPDATE: Tommy Vietor, Obama's spokesperson, just told TMZ, "Glad to see they're focused on the important issues over in McCain HQ."

Obama -- Hypocrite or Just Plain Smart?

Barack Obama reportedly turned down a request from Lindsay Lohan to host a few Barack events, claiming "she is not exactly the kind of high-profile star who would be a positive for us."

McCain's camp is incredulous -- Obama's peeps think McCain is wasting time on a trivial matter. But it triggered a debate in our newsroom; since Obama did drugs when he was young, is this a little hypocritical in the Department of Forgive and Forget?

Dakota Fanning: Awkward Stage Officially Over

Dakota Fanning appears to have survived that awkward, unfortunate stage that afflicts many child stars somewhere between puberty and their first DUI.

The 14-year-old turned up to the NYC premiere of "That Dakota Fanning Rape Movie" last night, looking like quite the lovely young lady.

Those kids never had a chance. I may be wrong but I believe the two older ones mother also dies very young of drugs. The entire family is a waste and they all should be locked up before they have a chance to destroy their children. And it just continues on and on

Also, to the comment above, a probation/parole officer can search you or your home at anytime without a warrant. That is their job.

Last i checked everyone is old enough to know better, any idiot knows that no parent "makes" their kids into druggies, and visa versa, did your mom shove drugs into your system while you were tied up? That would be the only way anyone can make me do drugs! If everyone would stop blaming every one else for their problems, the world would be a better place. Not to mention STAY THE HELL OUT OF EVEYONE ELSES BUSINESS. You dont know the truth as to why there was drugs in Ryans room, the kids maybe stashed it there, its not our business. If eveyone would take care of themselves and leave everyone else alone, life would be less dramatic!

104. Theirs is a tragic family. The heart of this kind of family dynamic is always spiritual in nature. They are morally rootless as is true of nearly everyone in the Hollywood crowd from my own personal experience. That is why they have all signed on to the principles of the Frankfurt School of communist culture. People with no moral roots in genuine Christianity will fall for Luciferian deception every time: drugs, communism, free sex, murdering forty million babies, or electing a Marxist, pro homosexual vacuum head as president.
