31. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Marilyn Mckoo and Billy Davis Jr in '72 when they came to Germany near our military base for a concert. They were and are two of the most beautiful, talented, kind and gracious people I have ever met both inside and out. Congrats on their 40th and bless them they are great. Entertainment should have more role models like them.

32. I used to watch her on TV and think how incredibly gorgeous she was and what a lucky dude Billy Davis was. Then I saw her in person in Denver and WOW, she was even more beautiful than on TV, plus she was warm, friendly, and very gracious to everyone. She was a totally class act then and now and is still smokin hot, no matter what her age, Billy Davis is still one very lucky fellow and they both are much better examples and role models for our kids today than 99.9% of what else is out there. I don't know whether "black cracks" or not but class does not crack, regardless of color!

42. I just saw Marilyn & Billy in concert...they sound better than ever and if you think this photo is lovely, Marilyn looks even more stunningly beautiful in person. Both she and Billy have a new CD, THE MANY FACES OF LOVE where they sing the great pop/soul love songs with their trademark sparkle. I am impressed with all of the wonderful comments here about Miss McCoo and Mr. Davis...this loving couple sets a standard of goodness and music excellence that stands the test of time...God bless them and all their nice fans.

A little bit of searching around the net would have revealed that the one and only Marilyn McCoo is one of the Top Ten black female singers of the modern era in terms of combined record sales. Marilyn McCoo is best known during the 60s and early 70s as the beautiful lead singer of the Grammy-winning 5th Dimension responsible for many of their hit songs. During the late 70s to early 80s she is best known as being half of the also Grammy-winning duo with husband of almost 40 years (a rarity in Hollywood), Billy Davis Jr.

During the 80s she is best known as being the beautiful host of the hit musical/variety show Solid Gold (this seems to be the only fact TMZ is aware of). From the 90s till now, Marilyn remained active in the concert scene and most especially in spreading the Good News of the Lord both as a Gospel singer and speaker. From then until now Marilyn McCoo is known not just for being a lovely and talented singer but also for her work as a charitable humanitarian as well.
