Tom Hijacks Katie's Play Time

It may have been Katie's big night -- but there's wasn't an eye in the theater for "All My Sons" that wasn't fixed firmly on her diminutive Scientolohubby Tom.

16. I also agree with momtojsb. He had NO business doing what he did. How aggravating. Did he REALLY need to have his ego stroked THAT bad and steal her well deserved thunder??? She has been working so hard and diligently. I can't believe how incredibly selfish he is ( on top of everything else). Tom SEEK HELP.

17. It would have been nicer of him to watch the play from the wings...he always wants to be the center of attention. Shame on him...

21. I think everyone is being a bit harsh, here. My best friend was actually at a show a few years back when Tom Cruise was there with his mother, and they did dim the lights for them when they came in to take their seats, and they were ushered out before they turned the lights back on for intermission and the end of the show. If he had NOT been there and been seen, then everyone would be saying that he doesn't care about his wife enough to come out and support her work because he doesn't want her to work. Geesh, what do you poeple expect from them? They're human, not perect, nor did they ever ask to be role models or topics of conversation for the world. Hell, if given the chance to have his power, money, looks, career, and success, we would do it in a heart beat. Give em' a break already.

23. So what? He's there to support his wife. I don't know why everyone is so quick to jump in this man's shiz. And, the people in the audience probably got a kick out of seeing him. Why is it that people seem to be meaner these days. Maybe after Bush's reign of ineptitude is over, people will be able to lighten up and enjoy life and each other's company.

26. I wish I'd been there. I'm 5'10" in my bare feet, and I love standing next to famous people just to see how small they are, even with the hidden lifts in their shoes. I bet Tom Cruise arrives late so everyone is already sitting!

27. Nothing like stealing the limelight away from your wife! Why didn't he get seated as everyone else was being seated. He has to wait and make a grand entrance. Piece of crap.
