Travis Barker, DJ AM Critical After Plane Crash

Travis Barker and DJ AM were passengers on the plane that crashed, critically injuring them and killing four others. The jet was departing from a South Carolina airport.

Travis was taken by ambulance to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, GA and is in critical but stable condition. DJ AM, real name Adam Michael Goldstein, was airlifted to the burn center and is also in critical but stable condition.

Barker had performed Friday night with Perry Farrell, Gavin DeGraw and DJ AM. It has not been confirmed if Farrell and DeGraw were also traveling on the same jet.

A FAA spokesperson said the plane carrying six people attempted to take off shortly before midnight Friday from Columbia, South Carolina when people in the tower report seeing sparks. They said the plane went off the runway and crashed on a highway embankment, catching fire.

47. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH TRAVIS AND DJ AM AT THIS TIME. I'VE HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING TRAVIS TWICE, AND HE HAD BEEN SO NICE TO TAKE PICTURES WITH MY KIDS AND I. MY HEART BREAKS FOR HIM AND HIS FAMILY. I HOPE HE AND DJ AM WILL RECOVER AND BE HOME SOON. GOD BLESS YOU.

49. 2 pilots were killed..a 31 yr. old female and her co-pilot male..both from southern calif. no names on the 2 other passengers yet..google and you will see the names of pilots and home towns..

51. farrell and degraw were NOT on the plane. All together there were 6 people on the plane and 4 died, 2 were crew members. There is a candle light service tonight in five points in Columbia by the fountain for a memorial for the victims! i will be there to show my support.

i pray for the victims and the families.

53. I'm terribly upset about this..I just saw it on MTV. My only wish is for them to pull through and overcome the injuries they've suffered. My heart and prayers goes out to them and their families and friends.

I, too was alarmed by the news of this unfortunate event...I do hope Shanna Moekler (Travis Barker's wife, mother of two of his children) was not on that plane...those poor babies, I PRAY that their father survives this tragedy. It only proves that 'you NEVER know when it's your time'...and/or when you're gonna get a life altering 'wake-up call' to change the way you live, and what REALLY matters most in wherever life takes you...family. I hope these two families, and the families of those who did not survive can gain comfort from the prayers of all f us.

Well...some people just don't get 'empathy' for those emersed in tragedy, like this plane crash, lke this "Tom" person who must be one troubled soul, who apparently dosn't have any human kindness flowing though him, people like him, need to be forgiven and PRAYED FOR! You won't ever need to worry about drowning in your own emotion, you'r too shallow. God Bless You...you need every blessing you can get!

58. In light of this tragedy it seems ridiculous to me for people to be shaming TMZ for not having the story right away.
