Aerosmith's Ultimate Sellout

The music industry has officially gone to the gamers.

In June, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith turned out to be the band's biggest hit yet -- in its first week of sales, the interactive game generated far more revenue than any Aerosmith album ... ever! To give you an idea, the band's latest studio release, "Honkin' on Bobo," had roughly $2 million in sales its first week; Guitar Hero: Aerosmith grossed roughly $25 million, according to RockGamer.

Who knew playing a glorified keytar would turn out to be so popular?

16. Aerosmith = Sellouts?
HARDLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have seen this band live more times than I love to admit. These guys are amazing. IMO, a great band proves themself on stage, and these guys do just that. If at this point in their career, they want to pump a self titled video game, why the hell not? They totally deserve the right - at this point - to do what they want.

They are entertainers; they get paid to entertain people. Whether it be a record, a show, or a video game. It's ENTERTAINMENT to the masses; even though, obviously, the masses tend to be asses ... in understanding the industry.

If you masses want to continue to call ^A^ sellouts............... GO TO A SHOW... and prove that statement.
