Enjoyed seeing the friendly exchange between the paps and celeb. Nice to see people getting along and not taking themselves so seriously. We NEED more of this kind of exchange in the world. He's not likable and that makes him watchable. He spares wannabe's several years of rejection at the risk of his ability to hear. He puts up with the inflated ego's of would be "stars" who can carry a tune but in some cases cannot pull off the personality requisites of "stardom". Taylor Hicks won, where is HE NOW?
I agree with all of Simon Cowell's decisions. I'm glad when someone is just simply off key they've stopped using that all encompassing "PITCHY" word. Pitchy rhymes with BITCHY and that is what Simon is.

As some on who is close to the show, Simon is the only one who stops and signs autographs for every kid standing in line waiting to see the show. None of the others do.

How many celebs would have freaked at a comment like that from a pap? I've met Simon and he was a real gent and had time for everyone. He treated every fan like they were the first one to approach him that day. Good luck to him, LA's a game and he plays it well.
