PETA has sent a letter to the co-founders of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream urging them to replace the cow's milk they use in their products for, ahem, human breast milk.

PETA claims human breast milk would cause less suffering for dairy cows and would make a healthier choice for humans. For their part, Ben and Jerry's say they applaud PETA's novel approach -- but believe a mother's milk is best for her child only.

Think of it this way ... Bristol Palin and Jamie Lynn could use their new motherhood for lucrative afterschool jobs!

67. I have always known PETA were psycho urban terrorists, but this is rediculous. Mothers milk is liquid gold and for her child only. How ignorant they are....so they would prefer to see humans put in barns to produce milk and let the cows go play in the fields? This is what the ultra liberals do...they don't care about human life ,only animal life. Things are upside down, when they worry about cows but not humans.

74. Yeah, of course Soy Milk is better for adult humans, but I have NEVER understood why the milk produced by COWS for BABY COWS is better for humans than than the milk women produce for baby humans!! If not Soy, then wth, why not breast milk?
