Carrie left Hollywood after "Aliens" and graduated from California State University Stanislaus with a BA in Liberal Studies in 2000.
Although her character turned up dead in "Alien³," Carrie is very much alive and a school teacher in Atwater, California.

32. Glad to read all the supportive comments about Carrie. She really is a wonderful friend, great mother, etc. For those of you with all the negative comments, you've either not found happiness or envy those that has it all! Childhood stars should have other aspirations...as she has. BTW,she is a proud mother who is beautiful without all the plastic surgery!!! You really ought to get to know her...she's a great person!
