Hangin' Tough with the People

Fans at last night's New Kids on the Block concert at Nassau Coliseum got a close-up view of their favorite middle-aged boybanders.

The grown men appeared on a small stage in the middle of the crowd and performed a few songs, much to the delight of thousands of people whose musical tastes haven't aged as much as they have.

16. I saw the first 2 concerts in Toronto and the experience left me feeling like I was a teenager again. Only this time.. I could do whatever I wanted without parents telling me not to!
Not only were the concerts awesome, I can not say enough about how nice the guys were, I got the opportunity to meet 3 of them a couple of times and they were always great to the fans!!

17. I saw the show in Montreal (Canada) last week and the guys put on an AMAZING show! They may have been out of the spotlight for 15 or so years, but they still know how to put on a great performance. They might almost be 40 but DAMN...still hot!

18. I was at that concert! I think I can see my hand. The concert was awesome. TMZ who are you to judge us girls who had an amazing time reliving our youth? The guys look great even hotter then 15yrs ago and they put on an excellant show. I loved every minute of it! You report about the most useless people on here but you can't give these guys who have actual talent credit for getting back together for the fans and putting on a great show!! Shame on anyone who has a problem with this!!

22. You know it really perturbs me when people say "real" bands play instruments. You know they could really be considered either (a band or group), because they do play instruments. But because they are a dancing group, they don't. And what the heck is wrong with not playing an instrument in the band/group you happen to be a part of? Nothing! There are a lot of very talented singers out there. They have an instrument--it's called their voice!

Oh, and again, these guys are very talented singers and entertainers. They put on a great show. And, because we all(the fans) think they are sexy, doesn't mean that we are letting our hormones pick our music for us.

And, it's okay for people to have their own opinions. That is everyone's right.

23. Hey Lori and all the crazy fans. it really does mean you let your Vagina, Estrogen and hormouns do the talking I can see it in your faces. you know the term "SEX SELLS" it's in your nature. animals have that nature instinct as well. I once saw a dog in heat and it jumped a fence to connect with the other dog. Dogs don't usealy jump very high. Real bands play instruments Rock is thriving because of it. It is society that does not apriecate real music. Pop music will always be proprietary flashey because it basicly buying smothing off the shelf without doing reserch. Thats all

I daced my @ss off, relived my youth and got to see 5 hotties put on an amazing show. They worked hard to put it all together and they deserve some credit. By the way- their new album is pretty fregin good- everyone should go buy a copy!

27. I saw them Oct 29 in ATL and they put on one hell of a concert!!! I still love them, they were awesome. I hope that they come out with another album and do another tour because I will buy it and go to that show as well! You people can say what you want, THEY PUT ON ONE HELL OF A SHOW! And the concert tickets are hard to come by if you can get any at all. Talk your crap all you want. Also they paid for this album AND tour themselves. Plus I think they're more gorgeous now then back then, I love Donnie, something about them Wahlberg men!

28. For one thing when did middle age become your 30's?? I always thought it was supposed to be around 50...hmm. For another thing, these guys not only have great voices, but they play not one but several instruments, they are songwriters, choreographers, producers and actors (Broadway sound familiar to anyone??). Just because they don't perform the type of music you enjoy does not mean they are not artists. I love NKOTB along with Zep, Eagles, Metallica, AC/DC, etc. It's called an open mind. You might want to try that one day.

On a better note...I saw them in KC and they rocked! It was by far the best concert that I have EVER been too!
