16. LaBeouf was arrested July 27 after an early morning crash that injured his hand and sent him to a hospital for several days. Sheriff's deputies said later that LaBeouf was not at fault in the accident, which occurred in West Hollywood. LaBeouf's representatives had no comment Thursday. Shia LaBeouf won't face a drunken driving charge for his involvement in a July crash that left his hand mangled. Los Angeles County District Attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison said Thursday there was "insufficient evidence" to charge LaBeouf with drunken driving.

of course he should not be charged because..

1. he wasn't at fault. 2. how could he "refuse a test"? he was severely injured and taken by ambulance to the hospital, where I'm sure blood was drawn. injured people don't do field sobriety tests or breathilyzers, in any state! geez-a-loo! the first priority is life-saving medical care, not breathilyzers!

okay, you may not like his acting, but that is no reason to want him charged with any crime. It just proves again that the "special treatment" stars get is actually being ttreated worse that "ordinary people" becasuse those in the CJS want to make a name for themselves at the expemse of the celeb or they go overboard in an effort to appear that they are not giving preferential treatment. either way, it isn't fair and is not how you would want to be treated.

18. "DMV hearing" my ASS!!!!.....when i refused the test after be suspected of DUI, the 1 year suspension was automatic per california law......more special treatment for celebs in LA!!!!!

23. Note to all drunk drivers...All you have to do is refuse to submit to a DUI test and you get off...Thank GOD for the California legal system. This guy should be in JAIL. I wonder if he will be able to refuse to the next DUI test when he KILLS someone durring his next bender? BOYCOTT Eagle Eye & Transformers.

25. feel bad for Adrian Grenier from the Entourage show (if that;'s the right name for the dark, curly haired young man)

apparently the first he found out that his girlfriend was cheating on him with this moron was when it was released that she was a passenger in the car at the time of the accident

rough way to find out you don't have a girlfriend any more
so that gal and Shia are really trustworthy and honorable people huh?

this self-centred young guy needs to be off the streets
maybe casting directors will look at him as a bit more of a risk so this might result in less roles for him-surprised he didn't go to rehab for a weekend and then say he's all better!
