61. As a woman, I am embarrassed for Sarah Palin. Her answers to Katie Coric's questions were like she was answering fish-bowl questions at a beauty pageant. C'mon, who wants her as our VP. And, John McCain has had melanoma at least 2 times. It's very likely that this dingbat could end up as our President. The old man and beauty queen do not have my vote. Keep running and hiding Sarah. You're digging yourself in deeper. Sarah is going to tank any chance that McCain has at getting into office again. Alaska needs you, Sarah, We Don't.

66. I am sooooo sick of this. So she looks like her big deal!! I happen to like Tina Fey but only one skit was funny!! SNL really sucks these days. If you are going to do political jokes the WHOLE show PLEASE at least make them funny! Has anyone noticed that they have only really made fun of Hilary and Sarah Palin? Sexist much? 71. I love it how when Tina Fey does Sarah Palin impersonations now, she's accused of being leftist. I just wonder why her impression of Sarah offends some of you ao much? Is it because it's so dead on? People have been saying Tina looked like Sarah before she even started playing her, and Tina was ASKED to come on the show to do her.

As far as playing politics, SNL has for years been making fun of politicians on both sides of the parties. Dana Carvey's George Bush and Darrell Hammond's Bill Clinton skits were probably the funniest in that show's history. If you can't laugh at political humor, regardless of where you side on politics, then you obviously take politics way too seriously, which means, like most politicians, you're close to having no personality.

72. Tina said she didn't want to be doing Palin after November 4 -- i.e. she doesn't want her to be elected. And after Palin's painfully embarrassing showing in the Couric interview, where she demonstrated clearly how unready she is to be the American VP (one of the kinder comments from a newspaper was, "this hockey mom needs more time on the ice") how could a talented comic like Fey resist?? Palin simply begs to be parodied!!!!!! I happen to think Tina Fey is performing a much-needed public service.

74. Well, Josh, your food for thought was half cooked. When Clinton was President, that's all they ever did was make fun of him on SNL. Seeing that the show's entire history has been under a mostly Republican Presidency, it makes sense that it seems like they're making fun of Republicans mostly. If you have watched the show recently, they poke fun at both Hilary and Obama (and they even have a white guy playing him). They even had Al Gore in the past host the show, where he pretty much made fun of himself. The liberal bias argument is cliched and old; try another line of attack.

As far as your comment about Obama being only half Black, it's funny how now in this day and age, when someone of color, even when it's mixed race, is running for President, people want to discredit his racial heritage, when for years, anyone in the mainstream and regular citizens whom are half Black have been largely considered Black by the immediate population, despite whether or not the said person of mixed race feels that way about his/herself. So I guess by your definition, just because Alicia Keys is half-Black, we should stop calling her a Black artist. Halle Berry is half-Black, so I guess technically she's not the first Black woman to win a Best Actress Oscar.
