8. Here was a giant of a man. One that exuded poise, class and integrity. The kind of man that makes me proud to be American. The kind of man every boy should emulate and the kind of man every girl should want to marry.
His life example will not be forgotten and his stature as one of america's greatest actors will never be diminished.

9. "First Class" all the way....I've always loved Photo #2 of he and Joanne Woodward!!! A beautiful and courageous soul....he passionately protested the Vietnam War and embraced civil rights!

15. Always my favorite actor and humanitarian. Thank you for a lifetime of good works and Godspeed. Sincere condolences to Joann and the rest of the family. Paul's Hole in the Wall Camps for seriously ill children broke through the wall of silence that shrouded the lives of kids with cancer and made their world a kinder, happier place. There is surely a special place in heaven for you, Paul. You will be missed until we meet again...
