Ghost of Merv Sues Ed

It's just sad. Merv Griffin's company is suing Ed McMahon over a personal loan.

Apparently Ed has been having money troubles for a while now. Back in 2005, he needed money and his pal Merv Griffin fronted him $100,000. The first installment was due September, 2005, but so far nothing has been repaid.

The Griffin Group is suing both Ed and his wife, Pamela.

It's the latest in a string of lawsuits against Ed. His publicist, Howard Bragman, just gave us the best response EVER: "Anybody interested in a great house in The Summit?"

16. It ain't rocket science folks...You make X amount of $$, you can only spend X amount of $$. No, Ed's not out spending $160,000 a month....but his wife is. He doesn't deserve to be bailed out by anyone. I feel sorry for him, but if you can't live within your means, tough!

19. Republicans are idiots! You do not vote for something that is going to save a country because you hate a speech! It just shows how much the republicans care about the country! Are we in frigging elementary school...this is our country's future!! Republicans are IDIOTS!!!

20. being a public celebrity it has to be hard to be dealing with this....... i really wished that from the many celebrities out there that are more then financically set for life... that one of them would step in.......... where is the compassion.... it reminds me of the story of the actress that from the old superman movies ..... she died alone and forgotten..... and of cource different situation but its in the same line............no one helping someone in need..... how hard would it be so simply put up and advance on a couple of book deals............a current biography by Ed ..........i am sure that he could fill a couple of time line books with all his stories and the many famous people he has met over the years..........hummmmmmmmmm i wish i had the funds to step in............... but i am just another regular person ...........

22. I hope they do not pass the bail out. The subprime loans were passed by liberals, and it's time to pay up. If there's a depression, the people who actually WORK in this country will survive. Lazy-ass, facist, Pelosi thought-police types will continue to whine about everything and blame everyone but themselves.

B.Hussein Obama took more Fannie/Freddie money than any other Congressman. Explain that, liberal facists!

24. thank our insanely dumb president right now.. That jackass is the one who's blowing billions a day on wars he's having problems winning (MISSION ACCOMPLISHED - still laughing at that one). And now he wants to save his Haliburton buddies and Wall Streeters. Thank God that douche will be out of office in a few months... HEY, nice to try and blame it on the Democrats for the current mess. If I'm not mistaken, Bush has been in power for 8 years now.... HE created the mess. Government had a aurplus before he came to power. Now we're trillions in the hole! Bang up job Mr. Idiot!

History will remember the moron-in-chief as the worst president in History. Bon voyage bush, and don't come back!
Watch out for Caribou Barbie and McCain this fall. McCain is somewhat decent, but Caribou Barbie has to be dumbest broad around. Catch that sound-bite this weekend, where she basically ended up supporting Obama's plan. McCain had to come out later and retract her statement. - LMFAO!!!

25. If this dude does like I suggested and "just kill over, already" he won't have to worry about that loan. And I won't have to look at that nasty sore on his face. By the way, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!!??

29. It is sad but he should have lived within his means. He certainly made enough money over the years! I have always lived within my means and I am completely debt free including my home. Let them fight it out on Wall Street. I don't care. I take care of myself and don't expect handouts from anyone.
