Judge Says Stone Wanted to Botox Her Kid

Sharon StoneSharon Stone is an alarmist parent who has gone off the deep end over and over, according to the judge who rejected her request to move her son down to L.A.

The court has released what it calls the "Tentative Statement of Decision." It is a highly sensitive document, which outlines a bitter, ongoing battle between Stone and ex-husband, Phil Bronstein.

Among many things, the judge says, "Mother appears to overreact to many medical issues involving Roan." In one case, the judge describes Stone believing Roan had a spinal condition, but "there was no evidence to support this allegation."

And then the court says, "Another example of an overreaction is that Mother suggested that Roan should have Botox injections in his feet to resolve a problem he had with foot odor. As Father appropriately noted, the simple and common sense approach of making sure Roan wore socks with his shoes and used foot deodorant corrected the odor problem without the need for any invasive procedure on this young child."

The judge differentiated very distinctly the difference between Bronstein and Stone, saying, "Father has championed for Roan's well-being out of, what appears to this Court, nothing less than the unconditional love for his son. Unfortunately, and for unexplained reasons, it appears that Mother did not involve herself to the extent she could or should have in this process ... Mother has attempted to put up roadblocks to Roan's getting help, or has decided against participating in his care."

The judge goes on: "Unfortunately, the problem caused by Mother's overreactions is painfully real for this child."

There are many other specifics that we won't publish.

The judge says at one point, responding to Stone's argument that she put her career on hold for Roan, "If Mother has, in fact, limited her career to make herself available for Roan, she has done little to make this evident to Roan, his school or this Court."

A call to Stone's rep was not immediately returned.

46. I will also add that I disagree the procedure is invasive at all. it simple requires injections into the sweat gland area. It does not require going under the knife.

47. Just a typical single mom. Notice the outrage that Alec Baldwin got for a voicemail yet single moms are silent over Sharon Stone's child abuse. If Sharon was a man every woman would be outraged. But she gets slack because she is a woman. She now join the ranks of great single moms like Britney, Lynn Spears, Jamie Lynn Spears, Terri Irwin, Pam Anderson, Heather Locklear, Denise Richards, Casey Anthony, etc. Now the single moms can trash men but at least K-Fed didn't subject his children to painful and unnesscary medical procedures for attention.

48. Ugh, Stone is just beyond ridiculous. Scary! If she finds unethical doctors willing to perform these procedures then I pity that poor kid.

49. Tia, you are scary. I seriously hope you don't have children that you can do sadistic scientific experiments on. Botox can have VERY serious side effects and it is not generally prescribed as an option for children the age of Stone's child. When he's older, if he still has a serious problem (well after puberty), then and only then it might be a serious consideration.

Stone has gone totally wacko -- she has been very "off" for quite awhile.

50. Maybe she has Munchausen's by proxy.

51. Tia, the point is that it was unnecessary because socks and powder WORKED! Don't you think a mother who jumps to botox before trying the obvious is ridiculous?

52. I'm a mom who is at my son's school volunteering several times per week, coordinate the league sports, etc. That said, I don't see how that sort of involvement would in ANY WAY be possible for Sharon Stone. She couldn't enter that kid's school or join the PTA without turds hounding her, taping her with their cell phones and selling it, etc. Y'all saw what happened when Angelina Jolie just tried to drop her kid off at school in the mornings: Mayhem!

54. I find this story very disturbing, it is extremely obvious that Sharon has psychiatric problems that need to be addressed. I wish the judge would have ordered that as part of her condition to see her child. Sharon appears to be self-medicating on prescription pills and alcohol and is in deep denial about her lack of career and the fact that she is no longer an A list star. She obviously acts inappropriate by having a 25 year old boy who makes her look even older. This woman is clearly delusional and belongs in a psychiatric ward for a least a month to get on meds and get stabilized, she is worse off than Britney Spears and that says alot.

Yes if that is what happened, but everyone knows things can get dirty during divorce proceedings too. I think the boy is better off with the father, he is healthier and better able to keep up with the demands of a child that age. Plus I think boys need a father's influence.

57. 54. Munchausen's Syndrome?

Posted at 8:05PM on Sep 30th 2008 by Janet

Janet, it would actually be Munchausen's by proxy. Botox for excessive, socially debilitating sweating is a fairly common recommendation by dermatologists these days. The implication that Stone has Munchausen by proxy just because she mulled over what a doc probably recommended, is over the top.

58. Oh May a little Munchausen's by Proxy ? Perhaps?

60. Hyperhidrosis is a condition of excessive sweating. I know as my daughter has it under her arms. It is important to try everything first and we really don't know all the facts regarding Sharon and her son. In my case, we followed the medical protocol to the T and after being denied botox injections, I finally won the appeal as the other methods clearly did not work. She has had the treatment two times in the last year and a half and she is 17 and so happy that she can now have a normal life. I do not know about Sharon Stone or her parenting abilities, but botox injections may work if all other methods have been tried and have failed. I googled it and it does not seem so far fetched. Yes he is a child but once he reaches adulthood, maybe there will be other options available. One of the drugs the insurance company wanted her to try, both the dermatologists refused to administer to her as the side effects were greater than the benefits. Thank goodness she had a medical condition that precluded her from even trying it. Parenting is not an easy job and divorce makes it harder. Lighten up on this woman.
