Another Major Jock Screwed by Mindy McCready!

Albert HaynesworthFirst it was Roger Clemens -- now NFL superstar Albert Haynesworth is getting caught in the wake of the Mindy McCready madness!

The Tennessee Titans defensive juggernaut thought he could just slip into a Franklin court today to face the judge over a speeding ticket -- dude got nailed doing 103 in a 70 in an Escalade back in March.

Unfortunately for the 6'6" 320 pounder, a grip of local press was there to cover country singer Mindy McCready turning herself in -- and the big man was pretty hard to miss.

And this just in -- Albie's case was just rescheduled for November.

2. Haynesworth is such a sweetheart. I'll never forget the time he kicked (twice!) the helmetless head of an opponent with his cleats in a game a couple seasons ago. Earned him a lengthy suspension. I hope the judge kicks him hard.

4. I can take these two. First, Mindy McCready is a country music singer who scored a big hit a few years ago and has been in the press a lot for her deep emotional problems and numerous legal run-ins. Based upon the standards applied to others who receive excessive media attention, yes, she deserves this attention. And you can take that last statement however you choose. As for the third comment, Albert Haynesworth did a very bad thing. He was greatly remorseful, served his suspension time as required, and has returned to lead his football team on and off the field. This latest transgression is a speeding ticket. He contributes greatly to his community now. In a world where athletes continuously break the same laws (i.e. Adam "Pacman" Jones), Haynesworth saw the error of his ways and changed them - at least so far. Perhaps we should withhold judgment until we see if he is going to remain on the straight and narrow. So far, he has.
