Jonah Hill Gets Our Vote
There are countless Emmy and Academy Award winning actors in this voter registration PSA, but it's "Superbad" star Jonah Hill who completely steals the show.
The message is important, the language is mildly NSFW.

16. Honestly, If you decide to vote because Leonardo diCaprio told you to, then I can only assume that the country is better off without your vote, so in that case, DON'T VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please!

17. soooo....what do they want us to do? I guess I'm just a stupid American who should be so glad that these important celebrities take time from their extremely influential lives to educate me on what we all already know. If someone actually IS that stupid and needs these ridiculous tools to tell them that elections are important, maybe they shouldn't be voting in the first place!

18. Nobody mentioned anything about Obama in this video so stop being idiots - and if you think this is radical, I would love for you to watch the news every once in a while. You might have a heart attack.
And of course, if you're ignorant, you'll sit there and pretend everyone (including Obama) is "elitist" which is a word YOU use to describe somebody more politically informed than you are.
Register to vote, whether you're voting for McCain or Obama. You'd be less of an idiot to vote for McCain than you would be to not vote at all.

19. Jonah is funny I think he's awesome!
That being said....I think the whole PSA "don't vote" followed by the barrage of global warming, economy, terrorism thing was lame.
I have to ask...what actually changes in Washington after the election? Won't the same incompetent douche bags that are there NOW (making important decisions for us) be there THEN?
Okaaaaay...so the "hood ornament" changes, but doesn't the engine underneath pretty much remain? Does a pretty NEW paint job make it run smoother or better? What GREAT change is going to take place AFTER the election that couldn't have taken place already?
Are partisan politicians HOLDING OUT for their GUY to win, before unleashing the country saving PLAN they've kept a lid on for 8 years? Is that noble and patriotic? Don't like the "boss" so collect a check and do NOTHING??
ahhhh...thee AMERICAN way!!
If Obama or McCain have such valuable information they could have been sharing all along, that would have remedied some of these current crisis'...I'm gonna be pissed!! Shouldn't we ALL?

20. If you don't vote at all then you have no right to complain about who wins the election. They aren't telling you who
to vote for. They are telling you to take the time to vote.

22. Bob at 6:44. You apparently can't listen very well. They never say who you should vote for, they say you should
take the time and vote. Very good advice.

25. nice message, really it is....get out and vote. problem is...#1- in my opinion, the piece is condescending in words and tone, as if everyone watching is a pure idiot, and more importantly, #2- i would love to do the research and find out the track records of each and every celebrity on this piece to find out if they have voted at every opportunity they have been given, or are they just collecting money and being hypocrites, which is usually the case.

26. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=0u6lCBnRoHQ
The above link is to a brief video clip on youtube by the late (and lamentably missed) George Carlin and it says it all about the issue of voting. I agree with Syd's comment. These celebrities are telling everyone to vote Democrat but they can't bring themselves to just say "Vote for Obama". The very arrogance of these people is truly staggering. They've taken it upon themselves to proclaim that the rest of us are morally retarded and we can't make our own decisions regarding ethical issues without a celebrity telling us if it's right or not. There may be a very good reason why people don't vote and the reason may be that there's no one worth voting for that matters. Another good reason why people don't vote is because people in the 21st Century are savvy to the fact that politicans don't run countries- corporations do. Governments are about as authentic as professional wrestling. People are sick of being lied to so now they don't play the game anymore. Self-aggrandizing PSA's like this are produced for no reason other than to appease the egos of the celebrities in the video. Stop telling the rest of us of what to do and start telling us what makes you morally superior in the first place.
