Queen Latifah Set to Grill Sarah Palin

Well-placed sources tell TMZ Queen Latifah is getting in the middle of the Sarah Palin/Joe Biden VP debate by portraying last night's moderator, PBS journalist Gwen Ifill, on "SNL" this week.

For the third time this season, we're told Tina Fey will be back, hysterically not answering questions as Palin. You betcha! No word yet on who has been tapped to play Biden.

Thanks to Latifah -- and since "SNL" has no female African-American cast member -- the world is saved from seeing Amy Poehler in black face.

123. KMA you need to check your back ground and find out the truth about your hispanic heritage and as for black girls / young ladies having babies and not knowing their baby daddy, just who do you think is running along aside those young black girls / ladies with not knowing who their baby daddys are? Who? Yeah HISPANICS! Let's face it all races are having young girls out here having babies at a very young age. And your right Obama is half white and his white half help raise him and he has had the best of both worlds. Sound like someone is jealous. Anyway vote for who you want to vote for just remember to pick the one who you believe in. Not because of their skin color or sex, but because they will do the job for the people! By the way all of them are crooks anyway.

126. Queen Latifah the big Lesbian making fun of Mrs. Palin. Nobody cares about what they say on TV , Why does Havey Levin have to say he's a lawyer at the end of his Tmz. show everynight, also a non-practicing lawyer. I guess it's hard to stay on top he he...........

128. Honestly, I just don't get it. Why is Hollywood so against Sarah Palin? She is a charismatic and talented performer. Why is the Hollywood crowd so pro- Obama -- he's a recovering crackhead, friendly with former terrorists and full of ego??? Oops, I answered my own question -- he's one of them!

129. Is this the only trick that show has up its sleeve? Pretty lame.

131. Why does everyone think that it's a good thing to have a political candidate speak like an "average joe"? I want my President and VP to be smarter than I am. I want the most intelligent person to be running the country!! I don't want someone spouting the dictionary, but I also don't want someone who sounds like they're trying out for the community theater production of "Fargo." Yes, I want the president to be in touch with what we're all dealing with everyday, but I don't want them to put on a false mantle of folksiness just to make people think they're one of us. I don't think Palin is selling herself well with this act. The "say it isn't so, Joe" was a scripted ploy set up by her "may I call you Joe?" question at the opening of the debate. It's not terribly witty, and it hasn't been linked to the point she was making at the time...it was a swipe with no lasting effect. I'm not a fan of Sarah Palin, but I'm also not a fan of the direction the advisors are taking her in. She is showing flashes of independence, like questioning the decision to pull out of Michigan-her long-time Washington insider "maverick" running mate should let her be who she is, Let her make her own mistakes and figure her way out of them. I feel like he chose her as a way to connect with women, but once she signed on his handlers had absolutely no clue about what women really want. As a woman, you betcha I don't want what's being shown.

132. Tired~

I understand your thinking on this, and I like well-spoken individuals as well, at least as far as leaders, bosses, managers and people that are in a position of authority or leadership roles. It helps them in conveying the message they're putting out, and helps us in understanding it better.

HOWEVER....it can go too far the opposite way, and help them in manipulating the way we think becasue they make it sound so good. A good SPEAKER does not automatically make them a person of BETTER judgement and motives but merely just a good speaker, someone skilled at it. I don't necessarily want a used car salesman for President either, but a doffus from Texas doesn't exactly instill much in my confidence either, depsite all good intentions out of either.

Should be a measure of BOTH. Well spoken and down to earth.....REAL!

133. Tina Fey is a brilliant writer/comedian, and she's truly gifted at political satire. Anyone who says otherwise is a moron! Just my opinon, though. And don't think for one minute that Palin won't do anything and everything to be President. If McCain wins, the Maverick should watch his back because she's got a growing army of horny, Repulican lapdogs that would gladly arrange an "accident" for Johnny so she and King Todd could implement the will of God on us all!

134. Awesome!!! Can't wait! I love Tina Fey and the Queen! Palin is a Nazi!

135. Really...come on Queen Latifah ( who has the name "queen" if they're not from England???) Besides the fact, OPRAH won't let Palin on her show. hmmmm anyone see a resemblance here?!?!
