437. ha ha ha! Somebody brought up the Mark Furhman defense!!

No trial was EVER held for Furhman to prove whether or not he was guilty of such a thing as PLANTING evidence against OJ...yet (for this bozo) he was GUILTY without a jury to see the evidence and make a legal decision based on it.

HOWEVER.....despite all the evidence against OJ, from the murders to all his current run-ins with the law based on his OWN bad behavior, this idiot still thinks there's all this "DOUBT" in favor of judging OJ still innocent of ALL crimes and charges.

Racist hypocrite!

441. To those who think OJ was really, wrongly, convicted this time for the murders "he committed" (and he DID) 13 years ago, rather than what happened in that hotel room in Vegas......we've all read about another depraved murderer by the name of Al Capone. Tax evasion was the only way they were able to put him away for the vile acts he had committed. Do you think he was too harshly punished also?

449. To all that still claims that OJ is guilty-- I just need to know your basis for your statement. Obviously, you are going only on what you 'feel' and not evidence. There was no 'untainted' evidence to link OJ to the murders. There were errors made the minute Crime Scene Investigators stepped on the scene. The bodies were moved. A blanket was thrown over the bodies before adequate tissue could be sampled. Andrea Mazzola and Dennis Fung collected blood evidence from the crime scene, and screwed up royally. Mazzola used one swab to collect three different blood samples. We are not even going to mention that the blood found in the Bronco were droplets. Give me a break. Someone just killed two people, sliced a major artery. There is going to be a whole lot more blood than a droplet here and a droplet there. Not to mention that have of the items found with blood were found after the initial visit to his property. Everything from the crime scene was caught on tape. Furhman brought OJ's vial of blood to the crime scene instead of going through normal booking procedures. Detective Vannater carried around O.J. Simpson's vial of blood in an unsealed envelope for three hours. Everything they had was tainted. To further suggest a set up by the LAPD, DNA was leaked to the media before results were in. So the fact that OJ was found not guilty had a lot to do with the fact that Furhman interviewed with an outside source outlining some of his 'planting' procedures. He discredited any evidence found by him or the prosecution. There was no way that you could trust anything found by Furhman--which was almost everything. The glove, the mask, the blood, the sock. Oh yeah, what about that sock? The sock that scientist proved were droplets. droplets that soaked through--meaning that the individual was not even wearing the socks at the time it came in contact with the blood. Now how did that happen? Damn, I sure wish they could find that missing vial of blood. To say that OJ is guilty, well LAPD evidence says different. The 'NOt Guilty" verdict from 1995 was due to lack of evidence and not because of race.

450. #448, let me say that O.J. is guilty as sin of both this crime and the crimes 13 years ago and deserves to be in jail! That being said, I DO get annoyed on how people want to blame the "stupid" jury when in fact the procesution and the LAPD made huge mistakes during that whole case! If you people are going to blame anyone, start blaming Marsha Clarke, Mark Furman, Chris Darden and all those other folks that made so many obvious mistakes that you could've driven an 18 wheeler through them!

As you pointed out, the crime scene was contaminated from the time they got there. Plus, DNA was just coming to the forefront at that time so most people didn't even know what it was. The two biggest mistakes was when they put Furman on the stand (even the late Johnnie Cochran warned Darden not to put him on the stand) and when they had O.J. try on the gloves. Both of those were bonehead mistakes that any jury would've shook their heads on. I don't think it would've mattered what color the jury was. I personally believe he was guilty but I would've voted "Not Guilty" because the prosecution didn't proved their case beyond resonable doubt. Even white folks I know that believed O.J. was guilty as well said they would've voted "Not Guilty".

Sorry for the rant but while I will not shed tears for O.J. Simpson, I do get tired of folks riding that jury because they did what was instructed of them and not doing what most wanted them to do. I think the jury was fair in that case and the jury in the recent case was fair also. Just be glad he's finally behind bars and quit gripping!
