2Pac's Producer Kills Self In Jail

A DUI bust may have triggered the suicide of a big time hip-hop producer.

Johnny Jackson, aka Johnny J -- famous for such albums as Tupac Shakur's "All Eyez on Me" -- was in L.A. County Jail after getting arrested for DUI. Authorities say he took his own life by jumping off a tier in the jail.

Johnny J also produced the epic jam "Knockin' Boots" by Candyman.

He leaves a wife and two children. He was 39 years old.

18. I've know this man since we were kids and if don't think he would take his own life no matter the situation. Sounds to me like someone is covering up something BIGTIME. He wasn't even in a section of the jail where the hard core criminals are plus he only had 2 months 2 go before he got out! So ask yourself who would do that... I pray that GOD shows the world what really happen to cut out all the rumors that are gonna slide out...

RIP Johnny Cali Hop Por Vida...
