31. Let's face it; Sarah Palin is an open invitation for the SNL "treatment." I've never seen another celebrity whose entire persona, posturing, and world view "asks for it" as much as Palin. Tine Fey, as well as the writers, are genuis at their parody of SP. Best skits in years.

Could the people who say "that woman is not qualified to be VP" please tell me why Michael Dukakis, as governor of tiny Massachusetts, was qualified to top the Democratic ticket several years ago? The plan to neutralize Palin's popularity was to mock her. Liberal elitism and hypocrisy like that turned me from a lifelong Independant to a Republican. Go on SNL Palin. It took you a few weeks to outdebate someone who has debated as a lawyer/Senator for an entire career. Surely you can take on the very bland and unfunny Tina Fey.

33. All these fools can make fun of Sarah Palin all they want, but she is SMART. When she & Biden debated, it looked to me like one of the good old boys (as usual) fighting everyday families like Palin in an effort to put them in their place. I don't hear all the information on Obama that has been televised on Fox News, Plain Truths about his involvements in a reckless life style with the wrong people. I am a Democrat that is ashamed of my party affiication, and I am voting for the first time ever Republican. May God Bless America with McCain & Palin!

Education.... seriously, have you walked into an elementary w/metal detectors? where whites gets ridiculed? It's Obama's friends neighborhood ... where NONE of their kids go to the public school... they all go to the private school where it costs ?$18,000-$24,000 yearly. And they ignore the education of their OWN neighborhood... why? they don't care, they don't have to send their kids there, why should they care. Only folks like me had to move out of that neighborhood b/c we couldn't afford the private school... and public schools there is sad sad sad... BTW, it is only a short drive from the UofI @ Chicago. Education reform my @ss...

39. Americans better wake up and wake up fast....I particular do not think either is qualified for President. But with only 2 to choose from McCain not even considered on my list. If something happens to McCain like another cancer set back and cannot lead the country, guess who will be leading. Palin is not qualified to be VP let alone President. If you think we are in bad shape now, just wait. McCain has no business at his age and health problems in the past running for President. He needs to live out the rest of his life retired like other normal americans. Give it up McCain you are too old. We need someone that can think and work hard for the lower and middle class. Not the rich. McCain has been for the rich and always will be no matter what he says. McCain cannot stick to one thing. He is too wishy washy on everything he sayd. Nothing in wirting on anything he plans to do. It's only hot air talk trying to convience the ones that don't see the big picture. There needs to be someone that is young and can think outside the box and get this country back on its feet. McCain/Palin are not the ones. They will only ruin what is left of what we have in America. If you don't think so,just vote for them and then we'll see you crying yourself to sleep everynight for the next 4 yrs. You have no one to blame but yourself if you fail to open your eyes and see McCains track record. As far as Palin, you haven't heard her bad side come out yet. Someone will step forward and the will be trash about her as well. Hockey mom she might call herself but with a baby with a disability that he has, she needs to be a REAL mom and take care of her child and not push him off on the other siblings and family members. She is looking for fame and to a lot of people she doesn't deserve one minute for leaving a disable child to others to care for. Who are you kidding if you think she can be a nurturing mother and hold a place in office. That is hogwash!! She needs to get a life and save herself from embarrasment. Palin needs to grow up and be a mature adult. Thouwing trash around about people only makes a sore spot for herself.
She needs to be better educated on politics and learn a lot more and I mean a lot more about what being a VP job means. She might talk the stuff you want to hear but anyone can do that. She has no proven record but what little she has done for Alaska. There are 49 more states she needs to be educated on as well as all the international countries. McCain thinks if he has a woman running with him he is replacing Hilary Clinton and thinks he will win lots of votes from women. Sorry McCain, I am a woman and all women I have spoken too say the same. This has not swayed me one bit. I am looking for someone to lead up out of the Republian mess Bush lead us into and if a Democrat has to do it so be it. I am SICK and TIRED of all the BS we have been given over the 8 years. It's time to have someone that is not so politically brainwashed and can think for the AMERICANS not for what's best for himself.
Btw....People need to wake up and move on. This is a different time and different world. The black and white thing doesn't mean anything to the smarter Americans. I look at the person and what they can do not the color of their skin but for what is in their beliefs and hearts for the American people. Obama is smart and is young enough to withstand whatever is trhown at him. McCain will not lead he will fold and put us in a worse position that what AMERICA is in now. Just wait and see IF he is elected, and I mean that's a BIG IF. He will let Palin make most of his decisions.Sorry if this offends anyone but there are more that believe she and McCain are not fit to lead this country out of this mess they will make it ten times worse. Not sure there is anyone but these 2 Replubians sure can't do it. Give the Democrats a chance to prove themselves.

Sorry but if you google Palin and AIP you can find a video of a meeting where the chair is talking about when Sarah belonged and when she left, etc.

You will also find videos of her as governor wishing them well at their convention. Plus there is no question that her husband was/is a
member. And to say that they hate the US is an understatement.
