10/7/2008 8:10 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Fergie's high school prom date has a record, too!
Fergie
Back in September, a man wearing a Guitar Hero t-shirt and carrying a silver handgun was caught on surveillance video robbing a Wells Fargo bank inside a Ralphs supermarket in Santa Ana, Calif.

Vincent Dean Malicek was arrested last Friday on armed bank robbery charges. And guess what we found out -- Malicek was Fergie's 1993 prom date.

My stepdaughter, Natasha Porter, was in the U.S. Navy for 4 years, and during that time she and another sailor, Christopher Malicek, had a child, who is now

My stepdaughter, Natasha Porter, was in the U.S. Navy for 4 years, and during that time she and another sailor, Christopher Malicek, had a child, who is now almost 2 years old. Chris Malicek was and is a manipulative, controlling, deceitful person. During the 2 years he and Natasha were together in Everett Washington, and during the period of time Natasha was still in the Navy and had her child, approximately a year and a half, Natasha signed the lease on her apartment, Natasha paid the rent, bought he groceries, paid the bills, paid for the utilities, had her own car which she paid for, took care of her child’s medical bills and visits, and took her child to Navy day care every work day. When her child was sick, she was the parent who stayed home with the child.
Because Natasha always considered Mr. Malicek in child care decisions she made, and because she would never try to prohibit Mr. Malicek from having access to his daughter, she placed his name on the birth certificate, never barred him from staying at the apartment, always let him have what limited time he wanted to have with his daughter. But the relationship between the parents was not satisfactory. Mr. Malicek only stayed at the apartment occasionally and was involved in the relationship for his own needs and desires; he was never a full time father, provider, care taker.
The only supplies, dwelling, furniture, etc., that were available to Mr. Malicek for the direct and indirect care of this child were paid for and supplied by Natasha Porter. Any limited time or effort Mr. Malicek expended to take his child someplace or to spend time with his daughter, was accomplished with the assistance- materially, personally, or financially- of the mother, Natasha Porter.
Natasha, like many young women these days, is naïve and she is also somewhat reserved and shy. Do to these factors and mainly due to the controlling, manipulative nature of Mr. Malicek, the legal papers to establish custody parameters and child support were never obtained. Natasha was made to understand that this legal enterprise would make Chris Malicek unhappy and quarrelsome. Natasha was concerned that this could negatively effect her daughter.
When Mr. Malicek signed up for more years in the Navy and was assigned to the Marine Corps Base Hawaii, at Kaneohe Bay, Natasha decided to make one last, really committed serious attempt at being a family. She had her possessions moved to Hawaii and she and her child left Washington State and her home to live in Hawaii.
Chris Malicek arranged for a duplex on the opposite side of the island from his base; Chris Malicek never gave a door key to Natasha Porter; Natasha Porter never had access to the one vehicle they had. Natasha was forced to pay the rent for the 2 months she was there because Chris told her his request for the housing allotment was delayed. In fact, he was unable to make that application because he had no proof of a custody arrangement, as required.
When things were not working out between the parents, Natasha made plans and- naively- told Chris what they were, to leave Hawaii and return home. In planning that was hidden from Natasha, while he asked to go to counseling or do anything to get her to stay, Mr. Malicek went to an attorney. Chris knew that all of their furniture was being moved out on Saturday. Before the movers arrived, he said he would take the child to the park nearby so that she was not concerned by the movers taking the furniture. Chris then left in the only vehicle they had, with the child. This is the last time Natasha has seen her child, January 14, 2012. Over a month ago.
To this date, all the information or contact that the mother is offered by Chris Malicek are taunting phone calls and self-serving text messages.
In the last month, Chris has agreed to Skype visitation. But these visits have proven to be very disturbing. The child appears shocked, refusing to make eye contact, disinterested, not knowing what to make of this person who look slike her mother and maybe sound slike her, but is cold and flat. At the end of the viists, the child will try to touch her mother and appear to not want the visits to end. These types of visits appear to be damaging and hurtful.
The child's birthday is near the middle of this month and Chris has refused to make any arrangement short of what he has aimed for all by taking the child from her mother- the mother would have to agree to come to Hawaii for a birthday reunion or visit. But there is no more assurance than before that this would happen without more demands, ultimatums, forced agreements aimed at debying Natasha and her child their freedom.
This was all done very cleverly to a trusting, naïve young woman. The attorney filed his letter with the court on January 10, 2012, but arranged for it to be served on Natasha January 14, after the child had been taken. This was the first hint the mother had of the unfolding scenario. So now, the mother realizes her child, who she has never been away from except when her daughter was at child care, has been abducted, she has no furniture, she has no care, she has no key to the house, and she is effectively deprived of legal representation or assistance until 3 days from then because of the Martin Luther King Day holiday, Monday, January 16, 2012. And a month before this Chris had attempted to coerce Natasha into dropping her phone plan and joining him on his plan, she might be without the only means of communications she has had all of this time, her cell phone.
Natasha’s mother flew to Hawaii the next day, stayed in Hawaii a week to help Natasha deal with this and arrange for an attorney in Hawaii and an attorney in Washington State, her home. After a week of really fruitless activities, no real progress by the attorneys, stone walling by the Navy, Natasha and her mother were forced to return home.
After a month and almost $10,000 in attorney fees, Chris Malicek and the Navy still have the child. No one knows who is taking care of the child when Mr. Malicek is at work, how she is being cared for. The navy has not only not assisted but has allowed evasion of lawful service to Mr. Malicek and his friends in the Navy, apparently with a lot of time on their hands while “working” have displaced real ingenuity in decoying and sabotaging the lawful efforts of a process server to deliver court do***ents to Mr. Malicek. Of course this is the legal right of the Navy, a federal institution, but is it moral, is it right? Why not at least let this be settled in court, and not by bullies?
It is clear to us that this is not a custody dispute but an effort by Mr. Malicek to coerce Natasha into a course of action he wants. He has never been and never would have been denied visitation. There is not a single piece of evidence or a fact that implies or shows this to be true. But many, many facts show his efforts at intimidation and manipulation and deceitful activities. His actions have been motivated not by love but by his need for absolute control.
I understand how emotional this is for all concerned. But every detail I have supplied, every charge I am making can be corroborated and checked by anyone who cares to do so. And I believe it is easy for anyone to judge and see that Natasha never took an action that was designed or would result in Chris losing the ability to see his daughter or to take any legal action he deemed necessary to establish legal custody and to establish child support payments.
